Title: ipac VE doesnt get recognized when shelling windows

I have just setup my cab and the ipac ve works fine but as i have it in a cab, I shell into Mala and when it starts up no controls work, if I connect a mouse and right click it then it will work but not until I right click the mouse, even unplugging the ipac and plugging it back in doesnt do anything.
any ideas

Cant think of any reason for this. What about a USB keyboard, if you have one. Does this show the same problem?

yes it does so i am pretty sure its something in bios or my windows install, this is the first time it has happened and I have built around 15 cabs.

all fixed, it was the bios, i set the bios to optimal defaults and all good now
