Hi,
Excuse me for the mistakes but i'm french :'(
I'm 34 years old and i havent seen topic for presentation.
You can see some of my works on this sites :
www.facebook.com/Arcadefromscratch (http://www.facebook.com/Arcadefromscratch)
But let me show you my project of my Vewlix réplica : The NEWLIX.
After searching some blueprints on the net i seen that there are many difference beetween the taito and homemade vewlix like the top ans the fixation of the panel so i have made my own blueprints :
To the left, the original, to the right my conception

while I understand that your post is basically an ad for your website, I'm still impressed. That is a very nice looking design you've got there. Good luck!
-
Thank you,
I put the site in link because there are more photos of my projects and I cannot insert everything on the site. This cabinet is mine and is in my lounge.
I think that many would have left the black and white cabinet and not starwars but i like vador and troopers.

Fantastic! Do you have the plans available for download? Clearly, there was a lot of work involved in your blueprints. I wonder if you have the basic drawing available for download in pdf?
-
Actually, that shape has me thinking. I'm a little too far down the economy scale to justify putting a screen that size into a dedicated cabinet, though I love the design. But this Control Panel... the way it angles down and into the body just in front of the controls... I'm thinking that entire section could be a pivot so that the CP pivots down and out of the way.
I could use my living room TV in the body of the cab then and it would still work as a main movie screen for the family. Pivot up the CP and "viola!", kick ass game play on a big screen...

Gamoover power :applaud:

A proper replica! I love how you've got the base section attachment to the CP modeled as per the original. Great job :applaud:
-
Thank you,
@Slippyblade
The panel quickly out without tools for the small spaces and can be replaced by an office desk to use the computer.
A screen of 32p is very comfortable as well as a wide panel.

@Generic Eric
Sorry but I have no PDF with the plans sides and if I put them on-line I can close my small work because i sell scale 1:1 print and note and that set a great deal of time.
@SpaceHedgehog
Magnificent finishes on your replica, it tempted me to make mine.
I have make so that the panel is fixed as to the original as well as the arc arched as the real and i haven't found that on the web so i started conception from 0.

Hi all from France,
We notice the contrast between the shine and the sticker matt as the suit of vador matt and its brilliant helmet.

Wherever that is sitting it is an area so vast this suddenly looks like a mini machine to me >:D
-
LOL...I thought the same thing when I saw it. I was like...wait was this a micro build?
-
Hello,
Thanks.
the panel is removable for four players simply do larger, it does not matter if it exceeds the terminal and players can sit while enjoying the 32p screen.
I use Hyperspin as front end

VERY nice job!

Since the control panel is made of plexi, do you have any back lighting of the stickers?
