Hi
I am trying to restore the original power supply for my Hard Drivin upright.
The fault is that there is no volts at all at the PSU. (fuse is OK)
So far i have changed nearly all the electrolytic caps, but there is one cap at location C24 I am unable to determine the type of..
Maybe someone know what type this cap below is, the naming on it is TRACON 10/50

there is no c24 on the schem, you sure that not a coil- looks like a coil
-
Considering the negative side marking, I'm pretty sure it's a 10uF 50V cap. You can verify this with your multimeter in capacitor mode.
-
The other capacitor-related marking is the partially visible "105°C" in the second pic -- standard for high-temperature rated caps.

You have a 10 uf @ 50 volts radial electrolytic capacitor.

HI All
Thatks for all your replys! :)
Now i know that it is a 10 uf 50V :applaud:
Now i just need to find a S2800B Thyristor - when I test that component in my china tester it fails the test.

Hi All
I need you again :)
I have found this "UA43 1AWC" who is dead.. but I cannot find any information for a replacement, or the component in the parts list.
The component is at location IC1
Can anyone help me in what component that i can use as an replacement?

Looking at the schematic above, it looks like IC1 is the Zener diode on the left side, 2/3rds of the way down. (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/92/Zener_diode_symbol-2.svg/206px-Zener_diode_symbol-2.svg.png)
The schematic is a little hard to read, so you might want to confirm these connections on the PCB.
- One trace from IC1 should go to R18 and R20.
- Another trace from IC1 should go to R22(?).
- The third trace from IC1 should go to R21 and C12.
I only see one Zener diode on the parts list, so that looks like a good place to start or the schematic labels IC1 as a TL431.
A TL431 is an adjustable Zener diode also known as a programmable shunt regulator (https://www.homemade-circuits.com/explaining-programmable-shunt-regulator/).

It's a TL431 or a UA431.
