It's been a while since I posted a group of gameroom photos here on BYOAC... so I thought why not start a nice gameroom photo thread here in the MISC. ARCADE section where it should be?!

Here's the Star Wars Cockpit Corner... I do need to get another frame for a 2nd flyer in the corner there...it looks strange with just the one. The clock is a little high, but there was already a screw in the wall so I went with it... :)

Very nice. :laugh2:
And nice room! Hard to believe this is the same guy that was concerned about finding his first cabinet in Idaho then was worried about his wife's reaction. ;D
-
Oh what a difference 2.5 years makes, eh? Hard to believe its' been almost that long...
-
I don't remember that much Steelers stuff up when I was there. The Super Bowl run didn't have any effect on that, did it? ;D
Right now I'm "renting" the dining room as a game room. Next house will have a dedicated game room with lots of room for more games. 8) But until then, this is the "dinecade":

I need to get working on a gameroom. Right now everything is just thrown about the basement with most of the pinballs dismantled. Need a lot more arcade cabs and less pinballs as well. Anyone wanna trade? ;D

The gameroom looks good Frizz.
Mine is lacking some games...and some decorations...
-
Did you get that SW pin locally SUPER CHEAP? One came up for like $300 ...of course it was gone by the time I saw it and responded.

No, I bought it from Dave (ArcRevival). I too, missed the cheap one. :hissy:
I haven't had the time to get the Darth Vader topper from him yet, so I put my black cat up there instead.
-
Ah yes...I remember now. I was so tempted by that pin.

Cool Hatrick, nice finish with LazorCatArcade!

Dont forget to send updated photos with the Steelers blanket taken down later on tonight 8)

Shucks, I was wrong on that one.
I dont even know how football works actually, I just wanted to be a d-bag since I dont have a star wars sit down.
Damn,
-
Right now, just an unfinished basement. Once we make a decision on staying in this house or moving, I'll have a real gameroom.

My best so far on Gyruss is 166,000.
-
I just added a disco ball to mine........pole pending
-
Not much to my gameroom, seeing as how I have just the one MAME cabinet in there. I did add some art to the walls, a new clock, and swapped out the MAME marquee for a Galaga (just to see how it looked).

It brings me great pleasure to announce that I can OFFICIALLY join the gameroom club. All I have today is cellphone pics. I'll upload better camera pics tommorrow.

What's left at my ex's house?
(notice someone had to reorganize to make them less playable)
I took a video on her digital camera and made this gif. I have GOT to rescue them. Especially that star wars trilogy arcade.
I'm working on game rooming the 1 car garage in my new place but I don't get the same feeling from it.
I have already put
Space invaders
Missile Command (Cocktail)
Donkey Kong 3
Zaxxon
A mame conversion (out of an outrun of all things- hey it was free)
Out there and it's already feeling a bit cramped
Also Not Shown: Darien's White Room See Below

Kinda hard to blame a woman for divorcing a guy who has TWO holosseums. ;)
Just kidding around with ya bro. Don't take me too seriously.
-
THAT is an "ex" that someone needs to hook up with! >:D
Muaaaahahahahahahaaaa!
"Sorry dude... you can't have your games back, they're now part of your "ex-wifes" game room...
:o
-
Ehhh Just an ex-girlfriend nothing too tragic. We're best friends now. I broke up with her. And for the record the Party Monsters pin, Tron, and Primal Rage are hers, the latter two were gifts you know like getting someone hooked on drugs. first couple are free.
We also bought her parents a Ms. Pacman, we beautifully restored it and they've only played once.
Kinda hard to blame a woman for divorcing a guy who has a Time Traveler and something bad that happened to a Time Traveler
Fixed.

Man, you shoulda kept the relationship, minus the living together. Best all-round. Total bonus if you both have game rooms.

I am still waiting on parts for my Buck Rogers Pin and I am doing some repairs to it before I get it moved into my little room. I also need to move all of my computer junk off the shelfs and throw away the outdated junk. This room is work in progress. I can only work on the room after my kids are in bed and after all the housework is done and by then I am tired and want to go to bed.
Does anyone make a room stretcher?! I'd love to have more space available.

Sweet setup! What version of Metal slug 6 are you running? Is it a hack?
-
Ummon:
The Mp3Juke and mame machine is in a generic poker machine cabinet. The hole in the middle is for a dollar bill mech, which I dont have. It was a brand new cabinet when I got it back in 2000.
Hunk:
The Metal Slug 6 is one of the games on my 100 in 1 multicart. Not sure what version or anything. I do have about 8 or so other carts for it Metal Slug 2 and X are two of them.

Ohh. I see now in the better lighting of that middle pic.

I'll take more pics soon and replace these. I just had these on hand and they work ok for now. I'm also planning on rearranging stuff tonight to make room for a couple of new arrivals that I'm working on bringing in soon.

That is a really cool shot!

It almost looks as though a dimmer than usual bulb is being used in those games. I would like to know also.

They are pretty sexy images, I'll say.

My work in progress. Next thing on the list is either another pinball or a game table and chairs. MAME is an NFL Blitz cabinet. Jukebox is 100% home-made. Other items include a Touchmaster Infinity, Earthshaker pinball, and Legacy Shuffleboard...and of course, the bar.

Nice bar! I would love to have a shuffle board table.
-
I added some decoration to my wall last night.
-
Thanks Spyridon. I stole some of the design from my brother's bar, but the backbar and the illuminated wine bottles in the pedistal are all mine.
I like the idea of the old marquees as wall decorations. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for some of those. My favs are tin signs, always on the lookout for those. :burgerking:

Post you gameroom pics dork. Got a new HS on it last night!

My pics were posted in this thread awhile back http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=81323.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=81323.0).
The only reason you have the HS is because you turned the game off when you replaced the batteries you cheater.
-
But I have pics from the previous owner showing the HS and I bested it. Hey, knowing what I know now, I would've approached that battery changing differently. But at least the batteries are off the board now, in a sealed box where they cannot harm anyone or anything (easpecially my rom board). :burgerking:
-
Is there a family reunion going on in here?
Something about those bars seems fishy guys (flake & LL)
-
Ok. Tired of bars? Here's the basement I'm working with. Its still a work in progress. Obviously I still have some decorating to do, but what I do have up is my collection of "found" signs. Actually, a couple were "found" by my brother, the others were my cousin. The storage room looking pics are my basement storage and workshop. A little cluttered at the moment, but usually pretty nice. Those TVs there are awaiting their fate once I have need of their tubes.
-
Part 2 - HDTV w/ game systems, storage and workshop. Don't know where or how to hang that no parking sign. Weighs a good 30 pounds

The only thing "fishy" going on is how LLUncoolJ seems to have a bottomless pit of funds to support his coin-op/gameroom addiction... ;D
-
LOL, I just saw some similarities in your bar & his which made me wonder if you were the mentioned brother from which the ideas were stolen.
I have no clue if the grammar for that was correct, please reread sober several times.
Damn I cant wait to re-do my bar!!!!!
Its time someone starts a DIY kegerator thread!

I am the aforementioned brother and have yet to be compensated for my design "consulting" work.
A DIY Kegerator? Man I really want a kegerator. I was going to put an undermount in my bar but damn those things are expensive ($1200 - $2000). So then I thought maybe I could put a stand alone in my storage room and run a line through my wall and have the tapper handle mounted on the wall. The problem with that is I have no way to keep the line cold from the keg to and through the wall......bummer..... :hissy:

What an I say, if the ladies are willing to pay for my services, who am I to deny them?
Will someone else please talk some sense into Flake...The workout room is taking up valuable space. It is an easy convert to a gameroom. Plus, selling off that equipment would give you the money to get a nice start on filling said gameroom. Get your priorities straight, will ya?
Oh, and just bite the bullet on the kegerator. Just tell your wife how much money you will "save" by having it. Plus, it's environmentally sound...no bottles or cans. There really is no down side. :burgerking:
-
@ Flake: I rest my case (pun intended): http://www.micromatic.com/forum/us-en/kegerators-kegerator-kits-home/2193-another-perfect-micromatic-conversion.html
You or your brother do it first, then I will benefit from your R&D for free.
@ LL: yeah man beer ROI is a good point plus at the current rate of "change" its just a matter of time before the obama admin will pass a tax incentive to go green & get kegs rather than bottles like you mentioned.
Speaking of, something tells me one day the bank I work for will be .gov rather than .com someday LOL
-
Kegerators are so over rated. I had one... I sold it. Bottom line is they are a pain in the ass to dial in correctly EACH and EVERY time you change the freakin' keg. Expect tons of foam and a headache over and over and over again. It's just much easier to keep a refrigerator stocked.
-
Damn man I really want to have a massive bowl of oranges, a row of pilsner glasses & a bright "blue moon" neon sign with a tapper under it.
But you just ruined it.
:hissy:

Maybe....I dont remember having that much trouble with the one we used in college. Its been awhile though. One of the reason's I want a kegerator (and I realize I'm probably in the minority on this) but I really prefer a nice cold draft beer to a bottle or can.
PBW - what happened to the mame cabinet? Other side of the basement? New pics of current setup?
-
I dig the REALLY cold draft with the cold mug or pilsner glass. Not much into the luke warm draft in a plastic cup anymore (college days).
PBW, how do you like that JP machine? My little boy really wanted me to get one that was for sale on CL, but someone beat me to it. I have never played one, yet it is on my wishlist.

How long is your Shuffleboard table? Do you think you might be over salting it a little? I can barely see the wood surface.

It is 12 ft. It is not a tournament shuffleboard, meaning it is a little more narrow. I think a lot of what you are seeing is because of the light. But we do keep it salted pretty heavy with a medium speed wax. It is pretty new, so the surface hasn't got good and slick yet. So when a puck hits an area that isn't salted, it bogs down, which is annoying.
My wife wanted the table more than me. I campaigned for a pool table, but she didn't want one. Shuffleboard is maddening because you seemingly don't get a lot for your money. You could buy a really nice pool table for less than I paid for a non-tournament table with no scoreboard.

Dang, I post pics of whole sides of games on my wall, and not a single "Burn in hell for destroying games" comment? ;) Maybe if I reset my post count to zero I will get comments.
*No I did not destroy any games - they were scrap sides that I thought would look sweet up there.

I noticed it but figured they were water damaged cabs or something. Especially that filthy Atari side.
-
They were both originally Wade's. The centi is horribly water logged on the bottom 2 feet. It did clean up nicely with magic eraser though. Maximum force was deader than a doornail, and was parted out. Cabinet was still pretty decent though. I took the best side of each.

PBW, are you at BofA? If so, are you down town STL?
-
@ Flake: Yeah I moved the monster mame to the other wall. The pool table will be happening VERY VERY VERY soon finally so be prepared for those new pics, until then here is the pic of the mame area.................maybe a mod can merge both gameroom threads into one sticky?
@ LL: Nah but I PM'd you where I work.....I do know some BOA folks that went there after the CW breakdown. Also LL if you are such a ladies man why did your wife talk you into a skinny expensive shuffle table you didnt want? Tell the truth, for every toy in the basement you add she gets 3 coach purses & lunch @ Miss Amy Bees or some crap like that? :laugh2:
EDIT: yeah LL the JP is fun, that sucker is fast too, prob 2-3x's faster than my wwf or tftc.............you & your brother are the kings of not buying Jurassic Parks

Oh you got a laugh from me. Not sure about my brother so just to be on the safe side lets meet up at Chucks next opening and bring your JP as a peace offering. It will get lots of love at my house and go a long way to repair my brothers tender ego...... >:D

Any chance of seeing this thread return to its original purpose? ::)

That's ok. We all have a bad day sometimes. :) Thanks. Didn't intend for my post to be anything more than a lighthearted attempt to get some more people's game room photos posted! :)

You are right, I am sorry, I will delete my rude comment.

O....k....Back to gameroom talk I guess. I had a bunch of neighbors over saturday night that had yet to see the basement modifications. The reoccuring comment was "Why don't you have a Jurassic Park, assclown?" It was very hurtful.
But seriously, chalk up 2 more requests for me to build someone a jukebox. People seem to think it would be easier to build a hydrogen bomb than a jukebox. Of course I had the moronic follow up question of did I build the pinball machine too. I answered, "Why yes, shortly after I invented the internets."
Well, off to scour Ebay for a witty sign in an attempt to one-up PBW's BBQ and dumping signs.
Here's to hoping that Michael Crabtree is the next Charles Rodgers. :burgerking:

Here are my latest gameroom photos...taken yesterday. I tried to get all artsy-fartsy with the last couple...

no messing around on that posting! That is a serious amount of games stuffed into a place that size. You may get the trophie for games per square foot FF.
-
The new layout is nice friz! As I learned this past Thursday, the best addition to my gameroom has been the crappy loveseat. People hung out there alot more with a somewhat comfy place to sit. I put on a ping pong clinic and had a crowd watching.
-
Thanks... I can actually fit ONE MORE in the game room, but it's a squeeze and I like having a little extra room.
Just outside the door is Asteroids & Terminator 2 and to the left of the door is Lightning & Secret Service pins...
...and yes, the couch went in to satisfy my company. If it was up to me, I could fit 2 more games there!
-
Looks great FF except for all that godawful Steelers paraphenalia..........stupid Steelers........
-
I say knock that garage door out and extend the room another 10 or 12 feet. Who cares what it looks like on the outside.
Flake=69er...ERRRRRRRR....49er fan. :tool:
-
I was just thinking about recommending putting a small mobile home in your driveway and filling it with your overflow. When I thought of something from the past.
When I was a punk kid, the county fair was in out town for a week a year. For a couple of years, they had this trailer that they hauled in. They would lift the sides up and out (for shelter) and it was full down both sides with arcade games. It was the first time I ever played Missile Command and Tempest. If that trailer (or one like it) pulled into my town for a fair or whatever, my wife would not see me for 2 days. She would also call me a retard since I could play 90% of them on my MAME. She rags on me anyway because I told her about a time when my gramma gave me a $20 bill and I took it down to the grocery store and dumped the whole thing into a Spy Hunter machine.
My wife just don't get it.
-
Hey Frizz, is that a single car garage? What is the width? I am thinking about converting my single-car side of my garage into a gameroom - mine would be 9 feet wide.
-
I really want a paperboy machine ---fudgesicle---!
-

It's the single car side of a 3-car garage. There is approximately 10' x 20' in there...
-
Here's what's on the other side of the door...

Damn you have a T2! I would love to have one of those....or an Operation Wolf. Cant find them around STL - at least not for a reasonable price.
-
Do you think 9 feet would work? I have a very similar situation, but mine would be a bit smaller (9x14 or so). Also, what do you do for heating/cooling? I think we are in pretty similar climates.
-
I hope to someday need an overflow for my gameroom.
-
Yeah, 9' should work...it may be a little tight, but should be OK. I use a portable AC for cooling (and I vent the exhaust to the attic) and I use an electric "oil" heater for heat. Works decent enough. The garage is insulated as well (all walls, the door, and the ceiling).
-
Operation Wolf & mechanized attack make me want to hide money from my GF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
The start of my gameroom, I haven't put my other games in yet, so more to come...

Here are my latest gameroom photos...taken yesterday. I tried to get all artsy-fartsy with the last couple...
For some reason, I got a chuckle out of picturing you laying on the floor setting up the shot for the "artsy-fartsy" pictures :laugh2:
The game room looks great. I would be paranoid about having the best game next to the garage door. With my luck, some moron visiting would pull into my driveway and smash through the garage door and take out the SW cp.
I'd still like to check out your set up one of these days. You are always welcome to check mine out, but it is a room sparsly populated with a few games...hardly something to see.

Anytime brother Hattrick... you do have my phone number, right? (if not, PM and I'll shoot it over).
Yeah...I'd rather have the SW CP in a different location, but there's not much option if I want to fit everything, etc... plus it's sort of nice having the CP there as it's on wheels and if I need to access the garage door, it wheels out of the way with very little effort.

Any updates? Anyone? Anyone?
-
Dining room space turned into game room space.
The Centipede on the right is moving into the corner space to the left of Juno First.
My other minis are in the basement.
-
Here are some fairly recent ones of my game room.
EDIT: Forgot upstairs, which currently just has a coin op air hockey table, but I plan to eventually get a skee ball up there, along with maybe a foosball table, and couch + TV.
-
TheShanMan, wow! I really love your gameroom.
-
I love seeing gameroom pictures awesome games....

Thanks! I'm happy with how it's coming along but I'm itching for another game or two right now.

Nice mix of video and mechanical gaming HarumaN!
I'd love to have a candy cab too...
Oh, and I love your retro console setup! I really should set that up myself, all my old consoles are scattered in various storage locations in my apartment. The only thing that's hooked up out of the retro era currently is my NES.
btw, Is that Popeye cocktail working?

Yeah, those are shelves from Ikea (Expedit), worked out pretty well for the console setup. :)
And yes, the Popeye works! I just got some keys to it, I'm gonna work on cleaning up the top (someone somehow spilled soda between the top glass and artwork :banghead:)
-
Damn Shanman thats flippin nice, HarmaN you have an awesome space there too.
Its good to know there are other people with piles of big toys in their house too
-
and big piles of money
-
Seriously, someone needs to merge this thread to the other GAME ROOM PICS thread. If I remember right there are actually lots more pics in the other thread. Merge the threads and make one master thread for all the game room goodness.
-
ShanMan: What type of lighting do you have in your gameroom? Is that just black lights or what?
-
Yep. Just blacklights. I need to take some new pics and post them. A few new games (2 SF Rush's and Rally X) have forced a significant layout change (gradually my current "game shop" space is shrinking) and the room has a much better "arcadey" feel too it.
-

HarumaN awesome room, that pool table makes me jealous! I'm an extremely avid billiards player, but my pool table is quite beat up these days! I really like the color of the felt too, I haven't seen many with that color. I'm at an arcade board drooling over a pool table, haha!
Also, thanks for shopping at IKEA :) business has been pretty good as of late for us!
-
Hey thanks... :)
I got the pool table second hand, it actually came with that color felt, which ties it in to the room pretty nicely. I have the same color pool chalk to match.
The IKEA stuff worked perfect for what I wanted to do with that area (it was actually my wife's idea), and the price was pretty reasonable, so there you go.

Here are a few pics....

Im still making room for the MK 1 and LE machine right now.

I'm still working on cab #1, but having a new house means we get to put up decorations... I had to do something to the gameroom-to-be.

I'm supposed to put 2-3 vid cab, and a console setting including the old NES, SNES, Sega master system and a PS2 just for DDR - unless at some point I convert my DDR mats to hard versions and have them work under MAME.
There's a wii and another PS2 in the kid's playroom...
I'll post more when there's progress... but we're still unpacking boxes so there's no rush.
-
Hello everybody. Since many of your gamerooms inspired me to get into the hobby this seemed the perfect thread for my first post. This is actually 2 pictures combined. That's why there's a little distortion around the Nintendo cabs. The cabs you can't really see are Tetris and SF2 Championship Edition.
And yes I'm missing a ghost. It broke during a remodel and another is on its way.
-
Here's the downstairs. The Elvis tree will eventually be replaced with an Alley Cats shuffle alley that I'm presently restoring.
-
In the process of building a house...but here are the plans
-
What goes in the empty room?
-
What goes in the empty room?
required storage from the wife :-\
-
Or you could lock the wife in the empty room and have TWO floors of gaming.
Krupa, love the arcade!
-
What goes in the empty room?
required storage from the wife :-\
she has bigger then the pool table just for storage?
Man, that's more then in my current house!
I tought it was the hidden ultrarare arcade lounge or something. That would have been sweet :applaud:
-
In the process of building a house...but here are the plans
Dirty, I like the plans. What program did you use for that?
If that's a projection screen, are you saving room for the projector?
That small white wall (under the stairs, near the poker table) would be a great location for an in wall touch screen jukebox (pc behind the wall)
Any plans for ceiling speakers throughout?

I used sketchup. Free by google.
Yea, it'll be a projection screen. The projector will be mounted in the curved wood over the bar seating facing the projection screen. I figured I'd just cut out a nook in there for the projector.
And I've played around with the jukebox idea, and it's definitely going in the projects list, but the list is filling up quick. When I start finishing the basement, I'll rough in speakers where I want them and get to finishing it when I can. I agree with your location for the in wall touch screen jukebox.
We move in August 17 :afro:
I can't wait to get going on this.

Do you find it awkward to play being so far off center from the monitor?

a little , player 2 is better than player 1 , its a 29in monitor , so its pretty big

Awww damn! So many of these gamerooms are looking great! Pretty good thread here.
Almost makes me want to get out my camera.

So I did. N Joy.
Note these are all dedicated original arcade PCB's in these cabinets. There is absolutely no emulation in this collection at all.
(not that there is anything wrong with that and not knocking anyone at all. I just prefer the challenge of keeping things 100% original if possible.)

Jason, I really dig that marquee wall! That is an awesome idea. :applaud:

I'm about 90% done, I guess its close enough. Still have outlets to wire, crown molding to install and a couple more games to move out here. Things have stalled, proving once again to never make it playable before its totally done.

Thanks! That is a pattern called Fiesta from carpetbargains.com
They were great to deal with. They took my order and called me back the same day with an exact freight amount, and delivery date. I asked if I needed to have it sent to somewhere with a loading dock, and the lady actually told the shipping company I was residential and they delivered in a box truck.
The only thing is that they only offer a couple of patterns, but their prices and service are great.

Jason
It actually is blacklit by an LED panel (its like 120 LED's in a case about the size of a small LCD TV). The pics don't capture the way it glows in person. The scoreboard glows too, which wasn't captured at all.
-
Love the carpet, and I especially love the scoreboard idea. It would be a great way of helping guests select a game to play on a Mamed cabinet. Right now I find people see the massive selection and get paralyzed by choice. And if I fire up a game before people arrive, that's the only game that will be played all night. Are those mostly dedicated cabs you've got there?
You've got a 4000 point lead on my Bezerk hi-score. I've got to play some more. :)
-
I have to get some better pics... I had the lens set too slow to capture pics in the dark and it made all the marquee's bloom. Right now there are 3 MAME cabs -a vertical, a horizontal and a Stargate/Defender that isn't in the room yet (its a bartop and I have to make a base for it). There is also a Golden Tee Fore, Soul Edge (horizontal JAMMA cab I swap boards on) and Stern Moon War.
The game selection on the board is all stuff my buddies and I play on the MAME cabinets, and there is some back/forth history on all of those games and the scores are all saved on the machines from up to 5 years ago. That really keeps it fun.
I just broke 100,000 on Scramble, which is why that one is blank. The next highest score was 28k, so I think I have that one for a long time. Most of the others could go down an any time, and likely will with bragging rights for all to see.

My last post was only a few messages ago, but it's been quite a few months. In the time since my last post, I un-bar topped my Stargate bartop and picked up a couple pins. I always liked pins but never thought I'd own any. So glad I did, they get tons of play by people that aren't into the vids.
I guess they're a bit more approachable.

Pinbot AND Taxi? Nice!
Thanks! I love a lot of the System 11 games. I sought out the Pinbot, but I found the Taxi at a show and picked it up. I had forgotten how great of a game it actually is. Its getting lots of play!

How did you do your scoreboard, TOK? Is it a restaurant-type, black board with white pop-in letters? Seems to glow quite well under black light...

Yes, its a commercial black felt board. I was a bit disappointed to find that the small letters are black light reactive and glow, but the large letters are a different kind of plastic and don't. I'm eventually going to just get a couple more sets of small letters and use them for everything except the arcade name at the top... Might try painting the large letters to see if I can get them to glow.
-
Aww, that sucks that they used two different types of plastic for the letters. I would think painting them would work fine, though, just might be a little tedious. You could even get some day-glow colors and either paint them all the same or use a few different colors to distinguish between certain things, if you wanted. Either way, it looks good so far!
Btw, where'd you get the board...an Office Depot-like place or online? I'm looking to do something like that myself or else get one of those glow boards, where you write on glass with different colored markers or chalk...can't think of what they're called, but I'm sure they ain't cheap. :P
-
The felt board was from this place... https://www.schooloutfitters.com/catalog/index (https://www.schooloutfitters.com/catalog/index)
The Sam's Club near me had the glow marker boards for $100. Pretty big, not as big as the felt board I have, but they looked really cool.

Took 6 games to the Seattle arcade show, so with the games out I figured it was a good time to rearrange and I love the results. Easier to give you all a feel for it via sketchup images than taking photos so here you go.
First floor in this post, from each corner of the room and an overhead shot (if you're wondering what's in the corner next to the garage door, it's a work area with 2 workbenches).
-
Second floor in this post, from 3 angles and an overhead shot (pin is a mr & mrs pacman, the computer is an apple iie, and in front of the tv is an atari vcs).

I think you bought defective guitars. How are they supposed to work without little plastic buttons and a strum bar?

I love that Explorer! Is that a Tusq nut I see there?
My "game room" is unfortunately small. It's actually a place I call the Studio Lounge but really it's my WIP Spinal Tap arcade, a pull out couch, and a bookshelf. Soon it will also house a smaller arcade machine that I am going to throw together just to have one finished that won't cost me an arm and a leg.

Still lots to do, moved house recently. Going to carpet the garage, and Mario-art the walls. Need to fix the lighting too - the colour temperature is rubbish. As is my phone's camera ;)
Tapper, Arkanoid, SI, Asteroids (non-working), Dragon's Lair (non-working), Joust Cocktail (you guessed it ;) ), Defender

Lounge, for consoles and movies. I am in the process of doing a cinema room so the speakers in here will migrate to that (55" 3D Samsung in cinema - room's only about 15ft front-to-back, 55" is perfect).

I got them a long time ago, so the info is a guess. Should be close though:
The chrome letters and stainless stools are from http://www.hillcrossfurniture.co.uk/bar-stool-c5/johanson-snaps-bar-stool-chrome-800mm-p6090 (http://www.hillcrossfurniture.co.uk/bar-stool-c5/johanson-snaps-bar-stool-chrome-800mm-p6090n) I think but I have had them three years and cannot find the letters on their site. I will see if I can dig out the original bill.
The plastic ones are made by Kartell and called Charles Ghost. I don't remember who did the original design but replicas are available. The real deal are around $2-300each depending on colour and size.
