Post by: bossyman15 on May 20, 2006, 06:07:02 pm
I surly would like to use my ledwiz with daphne and pinball when I finish wiring and setting ledwiz up.

Not really.  Not a big fan of one word answers with a period.  Sorry about the confusion, not meant to be a positive reply.

Not that I really need to give a reason, but:
Since I don't use daphne or pinmame, I have no intrest in making "Power" versions of them.  PowerMAME only exists because I wanted to do it for my own cabinet and decided to make it available to others.  I'm beginning to regret that decision.

I have precious little time to work on this stuff and more work isn't what I need.

Don't regret it. For every 1 person that says something negative, there are 100 people that really appreciate all the hard work. I for one appreciate it.

Mike, I think the majority of us would be fine with you just compiling new versions without working on new stuff through the summer.  I know that I would be fine with it

That is pretty much what I was planning to do.  The kids are home from school and I'd rather spend time with them and the wife rather than sitting behind the computer.

Don't mistake me, I love powermame.  My comment was only in regards to the one word reply.  I appreciate what you've done Mike and I think it's brilliant.  So, again, no negative comment was intended for Powermame, just the short response.  I wouldn't make a big deal about it.  I just wanted to stress that.  My reply was a knee jerk, smartaleck quick response with really no meaning.

I thought that your reply was in jest as well, but I could see where Mike would take it otherwise. I just wanted to make sure that Mike didn't get discouraged and abandon this great project.

I didn't take it as a negative comment.  No hard feelings.  I elaborated on my response to make it clear that I'm not in the business of making "Power" versions of things.  I just do PowerMAME and usually have a hard time finding free time for that.

No plans to abandon it yet.  Development may slow down at times but that is what is nice about hobbies.  You aren't held to someone elses schedule.
