Cab: Mameroom 4 player Kit
Theme: Dragons Lair
Front End: Hyperspin
Monitor: 27" CGA at the momment
This is my first cab and since I'm not the best at woodworking so I built this using the Mameroom 4 player kit.
It's theme is Dragon's Lair and as of right now its only 95% done. I have some side art yet to apply but other than that it's pretty much done.

Some more pics of the process..

and more pics of the process..
Still need to apply the side art though..
-
And some random pics.. Side art, sticks etc.. I ended up not using the buttons in these photos and going with some lit buttons instead. The end result was very nice.

This looks amazing!! :applaud:
I've always liked Dragon's Lair and that artwork looks great. Where did you order the motherboard from?
Be sure to upload more pics of the side art when you install it.

I honestly do not remember where I got the mobo from. I'd have to dig up the invoice. I ordered back in March. Some of the details of the items I ordered back then are a bit foggy. I can say this, most of the arcade parts came from Ultimarc. The marquee and side art are the official artwork from the actual arcade. Reproduction of course from quarterarcade.com. The cp was started by Trebeck here on the forums. he gave me some nice groundwork to start from. I added the Dragon and moved dirk and daphne to the right to balance it out. Lit buttons came from paradisearcadeshop.com. Hyperspin of course can be found over at hyperspin-fe.com and the rest.. well, collected from here and there. Some of the parts were spare parts I had in my shop.. 27" Monitor, ISO, wiring etc.

Checked out this project because I saw "Dragon's Layer" in the title, and wanted to see if you actually carried that typo through to your marquee, etc. ;D I'm both glad and disappointed you didn't.

I was busy yesterday at work at the same time I was posting the stuff. oops on the typo but no worries, it's done right. ;D

Here are some more pics including the finalized side art applied. The side art and marquee is the actual artwork used on original cabs. I thought that would be fitting. The control panel art is of course customized. It's a multi game unit of course, Mame, Daphne, Etc..
