Title: Demul 0.581 Released!
Post by: Boomslang on August 05, 2013, 09:54:24 pm
Hikaru Sega Nascar now boots up!

just make sure you go into test menu and change players from 2 to 1

Its still got a lot of work to do on it by the looks of it, but its semi playable anyway.

it has some minor graphic fixes over 0.58 which is welcomed. jambo safari def looks nicer. Nascar boots up but its far from playable for me. i cant get it over 30fps and all the other racing games are at or near 60fps with my setup.

What looks different about it?  I'm running it on .56 and it looks perfect to me.

How well does Demul run DC games? I'm looking for a good DC emu. Heard good things about Chankast but it seems it hasn't been in the news lately.

what's your setup?

Badmouth: The colors look nicer and some of the shading is better for me. I was playing it earlier before I updated and i could definably see some improvement

A little off topic, but how do you get the acceleration working for Crazy Taxi?

@isamu Nulldc is really the best DC emu around imo. I haven't messed too much with DC emulation in Demul. But you can use both and both support chds!

Are the other NAOMI driving games working properly?

Pedals must be set to combined.  Demul is set up with gamepads in mind where moving the stick up would be gas and moving it down would be reverse.
The triggers on xbox360 pads are also set up as different directions of the same axis.

gas and brake are analog up and down on the arcade pad. button one and two are is the gears.

boomslang: yea, ur setup is better than mine. that would explain why u got better results with nascar.

I haven't tried the others yet. I use to have it working but some how my controls got set back to default. I use a 360 pad and PS3 pad via Motioninjoy set to emulate the 360 pad.
