Title: Any good Arcade Monitor calibration procedure?
Post by: agalardi on October 22, 2019, 01:34:01 pm
I have a 21" arcade monitor and I am far away from a good calibration. I tried a lot but I am not good at it.

It would be great if someone have a step by step calibration guide/procedure/instructions.

I would be perfect if it comes with some calibration images with some kind of scale. Something like: "step 4: open img4 and adjust red until you can see between X and Y"... and so on.

Maybe It is not possible to get a guide like this...  :dunno

Color balancing is always going to be subjective. The key is to get your black and white levels the way you like then go from there.  On Youtube, buffet has a decent video on how to color balance a Sanyo.  The process is very similar to all monitors (except Sanyo has 3 brightness controls) so you might want to take a look at that.  Start watching after he is done setting the B+.  Here's a link to it  https://youtu.be/HASKqAOwLms?t=790  There are other videos out there try searching for "how to color balance arcade monitor"
