OK, guys. Here's what I want to do. I want to have my own logo load. Easy enough. I also want to change the emulator select screen backgrounds and pictures to these...
-
I only want MAME, PC Engine, Famicom, Super Famicom, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, N64, Sega Master System, and Sega Mega drive. When I cruise through the emulator select menu and say I want to play an old school Famicom game so I hit Enter...
-
and after I select the Famicom emulator it jumps me to this screen.
-
Or if I wan't to play a Gameboy game, I hit enter and I want it to take me to this....
-
Or if I want to play a GBC game, I hit enter and it takes me to this...
-
Enough already you guys get the picture. I am not too fussed about having a different pic for each emulator selection but I would love to have a different pic for each game selection menu for each emulator. How can I do this?
Thanks ahead of time for assistance guys.

Jig, I'm working from memory here so there may be errors in what I'm telling you. Maximus works in layers, some of those layers are global (layer doesn't change based on emulator selected) and some do. I think the game selection backgrounds are global so you'll have to use one of the other layers (sprites) as the background and put it over the regular background. So whatever background you want in the console select screen have that sprite be the global background, and then in each subordinate menu (game select menu) use one of the emu specific sprites, put it one layer above the background, resize it to fill the screen and use that. Then just build the rest of the sprites over that to whatever standard you're using. Just pick a sprite you don't have much use for.
I hope that helps.

Thanks Le Chuck, just one question. I have never found a way to drag one layer over the top of another. Must have missed out that day of class.
I will check and see what I can do....

The sprite order is their display order. If you right click or go to sprite settings you can adjust it.
