Title: Paint + Vinyl

Dumb question probably but I'm not sure the answer.
If I'm doing vinyl side art, marquee, and cp should I be using vinyl on the entire cabinet?
Like there'll be little exposed lips on the mdf in some areas. Can I just paint those black or will it look funny if I don't wrap everything in vinyl?

Yes, Paint anywhere the vinyl doesn't reach in black :) Or a complimentary colour to the art.
