I'm toying with the idea of starting a new project and currently just researching some of the constraints which will dictate design.
I'd like to known if there are any Pi based projects that have utilised a 9-12 inch display but have also been battery powered?
Any links/info greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)

maybe with this kind of battery https://www.amazon.fr/EasyAcc%C2%AE-Powerbank-adaptateur-Bluetooth-Smartphones/dp/B008YRG5JQ (https://www.amazon.fr/EasyAcc%C2%AE-Powerbank-adaptateur-Bluetooth-Smartphones/dp/B008YRG5JQ)
and this display https://www.waveshare.com/product/10.1inch-hdmi-lcd.htm (https://www.waveshare.com/product/10.1inch-hdmi-lcd.htm)

Depends on how long you want to play with it on one load.
A screen like that doesn't draw that much power (the 10 inch mentioned by tikiandskull uses a 5V 2A power supply - so at its max it will draw 2 Amps - my 7 inch can be powered through a laptop USB port even). With a 20.000mAh powerbank you should be fine for 3-4 hours at least.
If you need more power you could look into something like a LiPo, but that takes a bit more work (with battery protection and such).

Thanks guys, so it seems it could be doable. Not too fussed about the time on battery as this is mainly for the fun in designing/building.
Going to attempt some rough design mockups to see what can be done around a 10" screen.
