Hey guys.. I have a 4 player pedestal cabinet and have a swivel mount tv that rotates 90 degrees mounted on the wall. My question is if there’s a way to have it slide down and lay flat at a real playfield position? Hope that makes sense.. not liking the vertical position..
Sample image attached for reference. Very similar to mine.. just want a way to slide down the tv on its back with a slight degree as a pinball playing field as mentioned above.

Sounds like you're looking for 3 possible monitor positions:
1. Upright portrait for vertical MAME games. (shown above)
2. Upright landscape for horizontal MAME games.
3. Inclined portrait for pinball games.
Consider fastening the rotating mount to an assembly shaped like a skateboard.
- In the upright position, the front axle hooks on the top of the guide track.
- In the inclined position, the rear wheels rest against the bottom end of the guide track.
- A pulley and counterweight system can make it much easier to lift or lower the monitor.

Wow! Exactly what I’m looking for.. anyone sell something like this? Can I add it to my existing mount? I can talk to my buddy and see if he can help.
My mount moves left to right then turns 90 degrees to accommodate both 1 and 2 options.. really need that pinball setup as I just installed pinball buttons and plunger.

I’m not sure how this would connect actually.. I understand the concept.. Do you know if anyone has done this before? Could my existing swivel mount be used? Any other pics or video of someone having this 3in1 mount?

I don't recall ever seeing a commercially-available mount like it. :dunno
The closest commercially-available hardware would be something like garage door tracks and wheels.
Can I add it to my existing mount?
That's how I envisioned it, with your current portrait/landscape rotating mount fastened to the top of the "skateboard".
- The left/right mobility of your mount might cause problems. Got a link that shows your mount?
- The wheelbase of the "skateboard" will probably need to be longer than the long side of the monitor.
- The axle width will probably need to be wider than the monitor.

Seems like the pedestal would need to be moved back a few feet every time to put it in pinball mode. And you'd need some type of side boards to support the rail system. Not sure if it helps but reply #14 of my pinball build shows how I used garage door wheels so I could roll my TV in and out of the machine. You could mount a piece of wood with the rollers just like I did but then build a different rail channel.

Ok awesome! I’ll have my guy take a look as this seems to be out of my expertise lol.. my current pedestal has a wheels below for that purpose as yes it would have to move back several feet. Thanks for the info! A lot more complicated than I thought lol.. but definitely doable.
