Title: arcadeshop.de - good or bad?

Post by: Sjaak on August 09, 2012, 08:56:59 am: I have ordered from arcadeshop.de a couple of times (from the Netherlands). Shipping is fast, communication is good, packaging is very good. Last time I even got a small extra in the box (Donkey Kong Lighter).

Shipping speed is pretty quick for being international and even after currency conversion and shipping, some of their products are less expensive than what some U.S. suppliers have to offer. Speaking of, I need to place another order with them...

Good example: Their "coin switches" are the same used in Skeeball model H machines for scoring switches. A set of 8 will run around $58 shipped from a supplier in the states, but only ~$33 shipped ($30.05 for my order placed on 8/11/12) from arcadeshop.de.

Post by: edekoning on August 20, 2012, 04:44:45 am: I recently bought a coindoor with two 0,50 coinmechs, and some other stuff. The site has a good layout, ordering went smooth, and packaging was just excellent. I would not hesitate to order there again.

Post by: LeedsFan on October 15, 2012, 05:04:18 pm: I've ordered from them on more than one occasion. My Defender bartop uses their reproduction Williams two-way leaf switch joystick. Nobody else sells anything like this. I've found them to be very reliable and the communications are good.

Stuff was sent very fast using DPD (German courier) and they have a depot near me so if I miss them when out at work it's no problem to go and collect.

Contacted them, got asked exactly what parts were missing, answered the questions. This was in end of May. We contacted them again a few weeks later (I have travelled a lot during the spring), and was asked again what was missing. Answered once more (end of June), then no reaction at all from arcadeshop.de. So, 7 weeks since I complained about the missing part, and it has not been fixed. If it is out of supply, I'd expect to get information, but this has been like talking to a black hole. I'm unhappy.
