Title: Groovyarcade in in Tate mode - How do i rotate everything 270?

Hi Guys

I have a Vert Cabinet, In GASETUP if i chose vertical rotation the monitor rotates 90CW, I need it to rotate 90CCW or 270. Any ideas on how to do this without pulling the monitor and rotating it manually?

For your vertical monitor, use either "rotate_r" or "rotate_l" instead of "vertical". I can't remember how those are named in GASETUP. One will show the correct orientation, the other will be upside down, just try and find which is the correct one for your monitor (it depends on how you have rotated it).

Thanks, what file would i manually edit to do this? I dont seem to have that option via the setup GUI

I'm pretty sure the option is there.

Anyway, just open mame.ini and search for the orientation option, the set "orientation rotate_r" or "orientation rotate_l"

I managed to fix it in mame, its just attractmode thats upside down now


if i can get attract mode to flip ill be good

Have you tryed to go in the setup->video setup->monitor orientation-> vertical? I do not know if it acts on everything.
