Title: Livemamecab is a Mame (arcade games) OS
Post by: keilmillerjr on July 28, 2013, 09:06:02 pm
"Livemamecab is a Mame (arcade games) OS

Livemamecab is an operating system (Linux Xubuntu) dedicated to Mamecab
It is used as a live CD, USB, or more traditionally as the primary OS. "

Livemamecab website (http://numsys.eu/search.php?search=Mame)
Translated to English (http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http://numsys.eu/search.php%3Fsearch%3DMame&act=url)

I published a quick review of livemamecab on vimeo found here (https://vimeo.com/71222789).

Now it works with mame 0.151, patch no nag and highscore and also the all-in-one retroarch.
The frontend is the latest mahcade version (wahcade)

Now uses Cabrio-FE. (Looks like hyperspin)

Just download the ISO, burn it and boot from it. You can test 2 mame games an 1 Snes and 1 Sega Genesis/Megadrive on the live CD. It will not change anything on your windows computer.
