Post by: zosodp on September 20, 2003, 02:36:17 pm
Can anyone advise what mounting plates are available that I can use to mount a trackball from Ultimarc to a wooden control panel ?

Thanks

I just noticed that on the ultimarc page he is selling a mounting plate for the trackballs.

Anyone know the size of this mounting plate?

Your talking about the 2 1/4" trackball right?  Then the mounting plate would be the same (2 1/4).

I don't know if hes selling 3" trackballs now.

nah i mean the size of the tracking plate, not the hole. I dont have much space between my P1 & P2 so dunno if i could squeeze it in.

If that's the same as the happs mounting plate (which it looks like), the plate is 6" by 6".

You can get same plate (http://www.happcontrols.com/trackballs/55110100.htm) from happs, of course.  There's another plate that's just holes that you also get at happs (http://www.happcontrols.com/trackballs/56553000.htm) and therealbobroberts (http://www.dameon.net/BBBB/parts.html#tbs).
