Title: Best Trackball games for MAME?
Post by: Gaston77 on June 09, 2006, 10:03:08 am: What- in your opinion- are the best trackball games for MAME? Games that need to be in any arcade lover's short list.
I can only think of Missile Command and Golden Tee golf :laugh2:

Cabal (one of the sets is for trackballs)
Rampart (Trackball)
Centipede
Discs of Tron
Any of the good golf games like the Golden Tee series.
Any of the good bowling games like World Class Bowling.
Lemmings, if you happen to find the port funny.

There are also some shoot-em-ups which make use of the trackball, but can't quite remember any. Bermuda Triangle, maybe. I'm sure there are others. Try to browse MAWS by control, it will give you more ideas.

I thought it was a spinner game, but checked in MAME and it lists it needing a trackball. Maybe it was a spinner in the end?

Push-Pull spinner and trigger stick with one thumb button.

Post by: Spaz Monkey on June 18, 2006, 01:57:43 am: I'm assuming that the picture is from a Discs of Tron enviromental. One of the best games I played. Dumped $5 into one when I was at Disneyland (when they still had a upstairs/downstairs arcade)
