Title: Free Items - Official Thread
Post by: SirPeale on May 09, 2005, 11:02:38 am
Occasionally, members will have items for which they no longer have a need.  One of the nice things you can do is give the item away to another member.

Some basic rules:

1) This thread will be used *only* for posting of free items.  Discussion will not be allowed.  PM the person offering the item.  After the item is claimed, delete the message offering the item.  This way the thread won't be cluttered.

2) Asking for money for items in this thread is not allowed, other than the cost of shipping.

3) Trades aren't allowed either.  Giveaways *only*.  Trades belong in the rest of the forum.

4) Local pickups are excellent, but if an item must be shipped, the person offering the item must either ask a *reasonable* amount for shipping (eg - don't ask $10.00 to ship a single button).  And, of course, offering to pick up the shipping yourself is a very generous gesture.

FREE ARCADE VGA BREAKOUT CABLES.

Just pay $6.00 for s/h to USA only.

I make this cables as I find Monitors being thrown away. I snip the cables and make it usefull.

I now have plenty of VGA cables. Got them from a company that purchased new monitors and used the DVI/HDMI cable instead of VGA.
Each one of this cables makes 2 VGA Breakout.
See pic below.

All that I make are fully tested in my Arcade Monitor Mame Cab (Guaranteed working).

A diagram below to make one yourself.
Pins mark with * you don't use.
If Pin 9 exist on your cable, consider it *.
In order to get composite, you just need to twist 2 wires (13 & 14) and connect to your monitor SYNC.
Use a multimeter continuity to trace what cable is what. Don't go by the colors of the wires.
Connect all GND together.
The RGB should be easy to figure out.

FREE POWER SUPPLY 200watts+ OLD TOGGLE SWITCH TYPE ($10.00 for S/H).

Please help, as I need to move a TV and arcade machine to my new place after having to move unexpectedly. The drive is only 5 minutes away from my old place to my new place, and in return, I will give you a Showcase arcade cabinet. Here is a larger picture of what is included:

http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/8095/showcasecab.jpg (http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/8095/showcasecab.jpg)

The cabinet I am offering was a project MAME cabinet that I couldn't finish, and my old landlord needs it out of my old garage. The monitor is not attached, but is included.

Please call Antonio ASAP 415-572-3713 (please no texting or emails) - I have NO TIME for flakes, so unless you can help me, please don't call. You will need a large van or truck to transport this. I am in the east bay area in El Sobrante off of highway 80 going out towards Vallejo.

Nonworking Hantarex 900/e.    Plus two chassis, of which I think one works.  IIRC it's missing transistors.  Pickup only in 05301.

Operation Wolf -- Cheyenne, WY -- Pickup Only

When I got this the game would not come on. After some light troubleshooting, I found the power supply to be defective. I swapped it out with a known good power supply and the game came on. My good power supply will not be included (my only spare). Monitor has burn in. Also, the monitor will not focus (hard to read text and graphics are blurry), possible bad flyback. Cabinet has a lot of water damage. Game coins up and you can start the first stage. No sound. No gun recoil. Marquee does not light up. When you pull the trigger the screen flashes indicating a shot has been fired and ammo is depleted. Hits will not register though, I believe this is because of the monitor focus issue, I may be wrong though. No back door and missing the "anti-glare" glass that goes between the monitor and mirror. Thought I would offer this up for free before I part out what I am able to (which isn't much) and/or trash it. Not expecting to see any interest in this, but I can send pics on request.

You can read the sordid story as to how I got an extra chassis and why it is slightly defective in this thread (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=111904.0). Thanks to the good advice from the people here on this forum, plus a new voltage regulator transistor, I got my monitor working.

So, if anyone wants this chassis (Wei-Ya 825), it's free to a good home. Again, this chassis is slightly damaged due to being powered up without an isolation transformer. Replacing the voltage regulator transistor should fix it. All I ask is that you pay the shipping cost. I'm guessing it will be in the $10-$13 range for the continental US. First person to shoot me a message with an address is today's lucky winner. Paypal preferred, but a check is fine (If it's good enough for Bob Roberts, it's good enough for me!)

Free: NEC 3PG 27" Monitor. I was using it as a TV in the bedroom. It has BNC (comes with BNC to RCA adaptor) and S-video inputs as well as RCA audio inputs. It also has a 15 pin VGA connection (with cord included) and (I think) 5 color BNC connections. Back in the day I had it hooked up and it CAN run 1024x768 with the correct refresh rate even though the book says 800x600 is max.

Must pick up in Burnsville, MN. South of Minneapolis and Bloomington (south of the river).

Also, please do not discuss items in this thread.  Take it to PM.  Thank you.

I have a  street fighter cabby I'm looking to unload. Located in Baltimore, MD. Cabinet was converted for MAME use and has 360 controllers installed in the control panel already. Free to good home. It currently has a 24" Samsung LCD in it I will include for $100 if someone wants that too, but the cabinet by itself is free. I just don't have the space for it anymore so I'm converting to a smaller setup. If someone wants it with the LCD would only require a PC to be ready to roll.

Child's Harvard multi-gaming table:

Pool table, table hocky, board game table, Mini Ping pong, Foosball top.  Great for kids around 5-8, the two games that got the most usage at my house was as the Pool (with tiny poolballs) and Foosball.  Also shuffle board things and soft horse shoes included, believe I have all pieces/parts.  Only damage to table is one of the hockey goals needs to be screwed back in.

Table is in good shape, kids outgrew and I got a bigger pool table (6') and Air Hockey (7').  Pic/dimensions available, but very similar to pic below, though that one doesn't seem to have pool.  Currently constructed, legs can be removed for transport if necessary.  I don't have time to ship anywhere.

Don't need to sell, local pickup only, located in Basking Ridge, NJ, let me know if any takers.  Otherwise I'll place on curb this weekend and put the over/under on 90 minutes on how long it will stay out there.

This was my original gaming PC that I converted to a MAME cabinet... I've recently rotated the wife's old Dell into use as the MAME PC so this one is taking up space.

From memory, it's an AMD 1800+ XP (overclocked to 2100+) on an Epox EP-8K7A mobo with either 1 or 2 Gb of ram.  It's already been capped to auto turn-on when power is supplied but this could easily be reversed.  It includes a CD-Rom drive but no HDDs.

This ran all my MAME games just fine.  It struggled on some 3D games such as those in the ZiNC emulator but would be great as a MAME-only PC.

Location: Paducah, Kentucky if you want to pick it up free.  Otherwise, email or PM your zip and I'll get a shipping quote.

Thanks!

EDIT: GAH! Ok before I get too many more requests, let me reiterate that this is barebones... I forgot that I already scavenged the PSU and the GPU for my current MAME PC.  I may have a PSU I can throw in but let me know if you want that - it'll def. add to the shipping cost.  So essentially what you're getting is the case, a CD-Rom drive, the Epox Mobo, 1 Gb ram (confirmed) and the AMD 1800+ XP (OC'd)...

This was from my outlaws old HP.  I'm talking OLD.  It would be great for a retro cab that wasn't intended to run newer games.  From what I understand it's a 450 Mhz machine (yes, Mhz!) but can be overclocked via dipswitches to a whopping 550 Mhz!  It has 64 mb of ram but combined with the above post for free ram you'd be golden!

Item location is Paducah, KY otherwise PM with your zip and I'll shoot you a shipping quote.

Cheers
Steve

Free goodies that I've removed from my MAME cabinet. Well, free, but I wouldn't turn down a buck or two to go towards my shipping costs...

!!!GONE!!!1: 21 feet of 3/4"-wide red T-molding from gamemolding.com. I bought extra in case I messed up. I failed to mess up.!!!GONE!!!
2: 2 modified bicycle frame-mount U-lock brackets. These are perfect for holding ACT Labs silver pistol light guns [which I no longer have]. See this old post of mine for inspiration: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,66908.msg677659.html#msg677659 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,66908.msg677659.html#msg677659)
!!!GONE!!!3: 2 yellow bicycle water bottle cages, which act splendidly as drink holders  for your glass bottles, aluminum cans, red Solo cups, coffee mugs, even your wine glasses! [I mounted my new light gun holsters where these once were--worry not, I still have 2 more drink holders remaining on my cab]

Hit me up if you're interested. Pick up in the SGV in Los Angeles, or shipping from 91103.

Thanks,
-Jason

Nanao MS8-18FB chassis. Not working, it's missing a hybrid (scavenged to fix another chassis). I'd keep this for more spares but I have working MS8-18 chassis so it's no longer required.

25 cent coin mech (weighs 650g unpacked).

Electrocoin Neo Geo Upright Manual

Chungwa M34AFA60X tube and VGA yoke - burn free. known to be working

Toshiba 470MSB22 tube - burn free. unknown if working or not. I know the neck (and vacuum) are still intact though.

Pics here: https://plus.google.com/photos/106019571274193779309/albums/5909089898772087233

Just pay shipping. I am willing to pack (nothing fancier than bubble wrap/polystyrene/cardboard though) and ship the tubes but this is at your own risk!

Note: I'm in the UK.

why wouldn't it be? Should i have just posted it here? Wouldn't that be just as greedy of me?

I mostly frequent PC forums and they have freebies threads that give away tons of great stuff all the time. Many of which have helped me out in a bind or two. Why should I hold out on them just to post it on BYOAC?

I'm sure that's consolation to the person who thought they had a chance at it for posting dibs first. If it were me, I'd rather not have seen it at all than think I had a chance at it after posting. So yeah, in my opinion, you should have either a) held out on them or b) held out on us. Post it in one spot, and then if it doesn't sell, post it elsewhere.

I realize this isn't E-Bay, but still. Common courtesy is always a better way to go.

Again, Why? You aren't really giving a reason here at all.

I post on multiple forums and there's nothing anywhere that states i couldn't post a FREE item on anyone of those forums at any given time. I actually posted it here before i even posted it on other forums. So technically BYOAC got about a good minute head start over H, TPU and other sites.

As with any freebies it's always on a "you snooze, you lose basis". I can't help that and I'm not going to pick and choose who is going to get it. If i did, I would have just offered it up to reputable members on any site i chose via pm; completely killing any basis for a freebies post in the first place.

I certainly am. If you don't know what "common courtesy" means, then I'm not about to explain it to you.

I post on multiple forums and there's nothing anywhere that states i couldn't post a FREE item on anyone of those forums at any given time.

While that is certainly true, there's also nothing that says, "I'll pick and choose whatever person I like, regardless the speed at which they response" and you could completely do that as well, but that doesn't mean you should, right?

It's my opinion, and obviously not shared by you. That's fine. I just find it pretty rude to post a free item that you know will have a lot of interest, knowing that there's going to be someone who wanted it, and then would lose the opportunity to have it.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but that's my opinion.

I guess I'll have to break this down into simple bullet point sentences for you to understand.

-I posted a freebie on a first come first serve basis.

- I posted it here first.

- I then proceeded to post it on 3 other forums.  because i have contributed to those forums in the past and most importantly,  Because I CAN

- I did not pick and choose who i gave it to. A person asked for the card on another forum FIRST.

Consider sitting back and re-read what you posted. You sound hilariously childish. It's a freebie. I didn't have to post it anywhere and i to be honest, i could have pick and choose who i gave it to anyway but I didn't.   :blah:

Its my fault really, I didnt want to be too greedy so I waited 15 minutes till after he posted it to reply, to give someone else here a shot at it. I dont NEED it as much as I WANT it. No gripes, if I was the other person that replied on the other forum I'd want the card too, and I respect that. Hey everyone I wanted to throw this out there for someone who may want to come and grab some free stuff...  I want to give back to this awesome group of people some of who helped me get my own MAME project finshed.  Anyway heres what I have....

Electrohome G07 19" has some slight tron burn in..  The monitor powers up fine only thing is that its missing the nut for the horizontal width coil.

A second Electrohome G07 19" this one has the faintest burn of something but its really like none at all Im being picky.  Powers up fine same issue with the horizontal width coil.

Hanatrex Polo 25" monitor complete but missing the frame.  It powered up but I didnt have the time to fully test it.  I believe I have the complete power supply for this monitor.  This monitor / power supply came out of a Mortal Kombat

Good stuff I live in Chicago on the North Side  Would like to have this stuff moved ASAP as im really in need of some space.
feel free to PM me and we can figure out a time to come by.

Hi there Im sure that the shipping would be quite high since its a beast and fairly heavy.  Also its missing the monitor frame.  I suppose one could be built or the parts can be found but that could be tricky.  Lastly  I cant confirm that it would be in a 100% working condition to throw into your cab.  This monitor could be a Jem and it could also be a bit of a project to make it 100% game ready....

Not a lot of people check the free thread, I'd post a "for free" thread in the BST section as well.  Shipping is going to be VERY expensive and you run the risk of the monitor being damaged.

Be warned the game sucks. It sucks more butt-hole than the only working toilet at a fat camp.

first person that posts a response here gets it.

FREE TV!

This silver JVC 27" CRT TV (Model AV-27S33) is from 2002, and is in fantastic condition. If you can come and pick it up, it's yours. No charge. Located in the NW suburbs of Chicago.

This thing is in seriously great shape. If you're adventurous, I'd wager it could be converted for use in a cabinet. It sports RCA, S-Video and Component inputs, including a set of RCA inputs on the front.

Come and get it before I have to throw it away or donate it.

so i was at work today and someone threw a box at me. a small but very heavy box. It was so heavy that it wobbled my head a bit. Just as i was about to get up and crack a skull or two, I looked at the box and it was labeled 'RAM'. I opened it up and there was tons of ram nicely filed in this box laid with anti-static foam. This box has everything from pc100 sd ram all the way up to some ddr2.

there is simply way too much to even go through and make a serious list. If you happen to have an older rig you are setting up for a mame project and need a bit more ram. let me know. Please, no hoarding.

I could use 4 DDR2 ram, 1 g or 512 k if you could mail them to me.  I will pay for the postage any packaging that is needed.

Do you have any 1GB sticks of PC3200 DDR2 in your cache? If so, I could use two!

Would certainly paypal you for the shipping expenses!  ;D

unfortunately. no :(

I do have some pc 4200 DDR2. should step down to your speed just fine unless you have a very very picky motherboard. judging by the use of 3200 ddr2, that should be a late 478HT, early Socket 775 unit or late amd64 board. If you want to take a chance on the ram, drop me a pm with your address.

Free XM29 presentation monitor (this is the older version with the I/O's on two separate panels on each side of the neck cover) Pickup only,  in Arlington, TX. A few known issues: color convergence is not so perfect (noticeable at XGA resolution, text still readable - not so noticeable at classic game resolutions.)  Ocassionally, picture blinks off, then immediately back on.  Internal speakers were blown and have been removed.  I had milled down some of the top cover to fit in a cab long ago, which I guess one could call cosmetic damage.  Also, No remote for you!

I have a Super Pa-Man cabinet that I am getting rid of.  Moving in 3 weeks and will not be taking this with me.  There is no marque, no power supply, and no coin door.  The lock has been drilled, the monitor is in the bottom not mounted.  The monitor has burn in and I am not sure if it works.  The JAMMA harness is there but I am not sure if it works.  The wood is solid and has no water damage.  See pictures.  Pick up or if you make the arrangements and pay the shipper I will help load.

I posted this on Reddit, but maybe I'll have better luck here:

Free to pickup in MN: WG 25k7124 25 inch monitor.

The monitor has zero burn in, but the chassis puts off no HV. I have since replaced the monitor in my MAME cab so I have no need for it. The chassis has been recapped with a kit bought from HAPPs within the last five years or so.

Pickup only; I don't want to ship this monster and I don't want to separate the chassis from the tube.

If you come to pick it up, I'll even let you pick through my arcade parts (joysticks, coin doors, mechs, tokens, etc) and you can take some of that stuff home with you as well if you want.

I live near Monticello, which is half way in between St. Cloud and Minneapolis. PM me if interested.

I'm moving out and need to find a new home for my project. She's been good to me, but being the neglectful owner that I am, I never finished her and she's been sitting for a while. Looking for someone who is willing to take good care of her and find her a loving home.
Cabinet is solid, 19in LCD installed, LED WIZ+GP installed and working, all CP buttons wired up and lighted, PC and monitor wired into power supply so only one power cord to power the unit. PC has Mamewah front-end but I never did any of the config on the GPWiz / Joy2Key to get the CP buttons lined up with the proper inputs. It wouldn't take much to get her all working great.. but I really don't have the space in the new place and need to find a new home for her.

 Located in Simpsonville, SC 29681

FREE POWER SUPPLY 200watts+ OLD TOGGLE SWITCH TYPE ($10.00 for S/H).
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=101280.0 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=101280.0)

I'm trying to send you a pm about the VGA cable, but can't.  I just recently bough a dedicated MK cabinet and I'm restoring it.  A dream project of mine.  I'm interested in the VGA cable, because I'm using my PC to build my machine.

Anyone for a fixer upper?  My original cabinet is sitting on the curb for anyone who wants it.  It is gutted, but there are a few odds and ends inside, some random controls, monitor brackets, marquee glass, and the control panel frame sitting not far away.  If you have a truck and slme friends, go for it before the dump truck gets it.

Well, life finally got in the way of continuing this project.  I was recently offered a job at Industrial Light and Magic which ended up being a nightmare of a relocation from Los Angeles to San Francisco.  My wife had to sacrifice so much to make this happen, so I had to sacrifice as well.  This cabinet has been in pieces for several years pending some major upgrades, and since then we have had to move it twice.  It's always been the most difficult item to move.  This time it would have had to go up a narrow set of stairs that turn 180 degrees.  So much technology has changed since it was built, the form factor just didn't make sense any more.  I decided that it was time to rethink and redesign.  I'm already planning its replacement, which explains why I've salvaged all the guts.  Most likely something along the lines of a wall mounted flat screen and a 4 player podium with some interchangeable elements, that can all be dismantled and fit into a hatchback.  It's a sad day for sure but it brings some relief as well.

I really hope someone can salvage it and get some enjoyment from it before it turns to dust.  Was a fun thing to design and build.

Free card that came out of a 15" elo touchscreen monitor. The screen touch sensors plugged into this card.
Don't know if it works or not, pretty sure it does though.
Free, you just pay postage.
Gonna keep it on here another week then it goes to recycle bin. (trying to get rid of some junk that is starting to making my house look like a hoarder lives here. LOL)

Once upon a time many moons ago I had a marquee printed for my cab based on the Lucid design at a local print shop. They had some issues with printing and I ended up with the extra copies seen below.

The one on top has a few very minor micro scratches, one in the A of Arcade but you can't really see it once lit.

The one on the bottom has a minor ink smudge on the left side border likely not seen once mounted.

They are 28" x 10" and I will ship the sheet for free likely by rolling it up and stick in a tube for mailing.

Use them for a project, stick them on a wall, or ?

FREE to anyone that may have a use for them including shipping.

Have a free Kortek 27 multisync monitor.  I haven't used in 2 years but last time it was plugged in it worked fine.  I need the storage space and don't plan on using it anymore since I have upgraded.  You will have to move it yourself.  It is heavy (prob 70-80lbs).  I live in the Arlington VA area,  near DC.  LOCAL Pick up only.

Is this still available?  I'm planning on making a trip to VA in March and I can swing by to pick it up then.  If not, I have a buddy who lives in Woodbridge, VA who can pick it up sooner if need be.  I'll need to check with him first of course.

Thanks in advance and let me know...  It will go to a good home.   :applaud:

Converted a SEGA Super Megalo 2 to MAME as it had a dead rear projection screen I couldn't fix. Still have all the original parts from machine like game select board, power supply, audio amp, and several boards I don't even know what they do. Plus I have the rear pro screen in storage. Anyone looking for parts from one of these machines, hit me up and I will send them, would love it if some of my parts could help in someones restoration.

No clue if anybody wants this thing it's old and junky but, just stumbled onto it a few weeks ago in the basement and can't come up with a reasonable use for it, but I hate the idea of wasting stuff if anybody can use it.

Old school Dell Inspiron 4100.  P3! 1.2ghz Box 256 ram I think, 14.1 4:3! screen, valid XP Key on it but currently running Puppy Linux.  Most interesting reason I figured somebody might want it is it's about the only 4:3 laptop I've seen since the Clinton years.  Everything seems to be functional, adapter works, etc, has a removable CD drive, think I may have the floppy drive around somewhere too but not positive.  Also has a cardbus WIFI card that currently isn't configured.

It's ancient and not the nicest piece of work, but if anybody here wants it for parts, the screen, or some weird project I'll shoot it out to ya for shipping.  Figured I'd offer it here before I recycle and/or office-space it.

EDIT: Couldn't hunt down the 3.5" drive, but I'll keep looking.  Battery holds a charge but not for too long...  looks like shipping USPS most of the US is gonna be around that $15 mark.  Thing is probably going to get gutted or recycled soon, so if there's any random interest speak now!

Post by: PetitMorte on July 26, 2015, 12:16:33 pm
Hi Guys,

I'm in Canal Winchester, on the southeast side of Columbus, OH.

I have the essential innards of a RoadBlaster machine for whoever wants to stop by and pick em up.
Everything was working the last time I plugged it all together, but it has been sitting in my garage for 6+ years untouched since then.

I have the full Atari System7 motherboard with the RoadBlasters daughterboard (2'x3' on a steel backing plate), a 19" LR40363 monitor, the sound board (recapped), and the power supply.

Come and get it before my wife recycles it!

Thanks.

Title: Wells-Gardner D9200 (GONE! 11/27/15)
Post by: PCTech714 on November 19, 2015, 05:43:40 pm
Hey, everybody!

I've found myself in a terrible position for an arcade cabinet owner/builder. My BABY that I started building from scratch in 2006, is heading for the junk heap.  Control panel, computer hardware, speakers, bezel, some of the physical hardware, etc. is all gone, except for the cab itself which is rotting.  :(

The only piece that remains in good condition is the Wells-Gardner D9200 monitor.  It's in great condition, although I noticed before taking it out of the cabinet that the screen is a little brighter than normal; probably just needs a simple adjustment.

I'm in the process of moving so shipping is out of the question (I'm just too busy!).

If anybody lives near southwest PA, please get in touch and get this off my hands.  I'm not even sure how to dispose of it properly if nobody takes it, to be honest.

My last day at my current residence is November 28, 2015, so if you're interested let me know ASAP and we can make arrangements.  If you're looking for a more specific location, I'm in the South Hills of Pittsburgh near Bethel Park/South Park (zip 15129).

Thanks,

Joe

Guys,
I have the guts of a Qbert machine sitting in my garage that I really don't want to throw away.
When it was pulled it worked minus the display (no power). The display is there as well and should be an easy fix... this was stuffed into a diff box so not sure if harness's and such are original.
what I have:
Mainboard
power supply
display
misc wires screws / harness
This was given to me and I really dont have time for it
its located in southeast michigan.
Still have this as of 9/11/16 Everything will be put to trash in 3 days :(

Edit:  TAKEN!  Nice meeting you asantora!

Mostly empty Space Duel Cabinet free if you pick it up in NJ - 07920. I can't deliver.

It's physically in a bit rough shape but the artwork is pretty good.  I started some Bondo work and never got time to finish it.  Marquee NOT included, I am keeping it to make a lightbox later.  Everything else you see is included.  There are a few boards in there, I have no idea what they are, if they work, or if they are complete.  The internal support wood seems to have been tinkered with and is probably not in its original condition.  The original black cardboard bezel is in there also but is very beat up, but you could use it as a template to make a new one.  Coin door with mechs included, looks easily restorable.

The control panel is metal and was reworked for some other game.

As is, no returns - I am moving and need it to stay gone :).

Thank again for the board Chuck!

Wish I had known it was a Mr. Do's castle. I would have taken that too to save on shipping. :-/
I'm a big fan of Mr. Do! And own both Universal and Taito PCBs.
It would be a cool project to have a 2 in 1  Mr. Do! And Mr. Do's castle cabinet.

Hi all, PileDriver asked me to let everyone know that all items have been taken. (He's having trouble accessing BYOAC and we are working on it.)

I grabbed the Outrun Boardset. The rest he gave away locally.

SONY KV-25F2U 25" 4:3 CRT Trinitron TV with SCART

Complete with speakers, and remote control.

Perfect for a DIY arcade cabinet.  I was going to build myself, but didn't get the time.  I managed to get it wired up to a PC using lead I built, but it wasn't the best soldering so it's a bit dodgy.  Lead for free too :-)

Collect from READING, BERKSHIRE, UK - RG7 6EY.

I have a gutted Atari Space Duel upright if anybody here wants it. Want to give somebody here the chance to get it for free before I list it on the local b/s/t site with all the vultures.

It's just the gutted cab with back door. I do have the original CP, but it was cut up to add a custom button layout for mame. Other than that, no side art, glass, marquee, coin door, etc.

From what I remember its in pretty good shape, but can post pics if anybody wants me to.

In hutchinson, KS. (67502) You pick up.

Box of misc arcade parts, about a banker's box.
Happ ms pac / galaga reunion joy
Happ Ultimate Joy
Happ Competition Joy
Happ cherry switches, concave buttons mostly white and purple
Leaf switch converters to fit Happ cherry switches
One of Encryptor's Tron restrictors from the first batches (I think it's still there)
A couple coin mechs
a few original coin return bezels
Some new Coin return bezels and buttons
Misc other items incl. 5-10 ft of T molding in green and purple plus samples of a few other colors.
I may have a t-molding slot cutting router bit and some bearings too.
Cold Cathode tube.
Fan.
Various capacitors.

Prefer a drop off / pick up / meet in CA - Monterey / Santa Cruz / Hollister / San Jose
Would like this to go as a whole box. If I have to ship this stuff it's probably going nowhere - just a time constraint.

Forgot how to add inline pics, sorry.

Hey Dervacumen,

Some of that stuff would be very useful for the rotating cab (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,158017.0.html) I am building. Especially the reunion joy and the leaf switch converters. I'm sure I will find uses for most of that stuff.

I am nowhere near CA (TX) but I am willing to pay for shipping if you ever find the time.

I found my spare Tron restrictor (I needed one too). Instead of installing it right away I'm thinking about creating a new mold from it since Encryptor said his broke and he no longer makes them. He's has provided me with the formula he used.

Found an old mother boards seems to be in like new condition socket 462.  It has a processor in it but is unknown if it works.  See pictures.  It is in Chester VA near Richmond VA.  I would be willing to mail it but since i do not know the condition I would rather give it away locally so someone does not pay shipping on something that may not work.  I do not remember anything about it.

FREE Acclaim Tsunami Re-Volt Empty Driving Racing Cabinet Revolt

Local Pickup in North East Kansas

Have a Acclaim Revolt Empty Cabinet, picture shows what it looks like not a picture of actual cabinet though, basically just a good shell to do something with you have the need for a cabinet for a project or looking for a good cabinet to replace a damaged one. This style of cabinet is also used on the Need for Speed series of Games by Global VR depending on exact model you have. Cabinet is in good shape, still has the Revolt side art, includes the back door, Seat Assembly, Fold Down Marquee, Steering Wheel Assembly with Force Feedback Motor and Pedal Assembly.

The computer also goes with it, includes the motherboard, hard drive and computer case that its installed in with the CD drive, I actually have two of these will toss in on the deal, the 2nd one however does not have a hard drive. There are no security dongles, so not sure if they originally had any or not. The wiring harness is also still inside the cabinet.

Does not include:
==============
-Monitor
-Force Feedback Boards
-Audio Amps Boards
-Any other misc. boards specific to this game

FREE Neo Geo MVS control panel

Local pickup in Northern California (San Francisco Bay Area, East Bay)

I picked up a Neo Geo MVS control panel locally about 2 years ago now.  I'll give more details in a second, but here's a picture:

Unfortunately, a previous owner drilled out two of the carriage bolt holes to install those buttons.  I'm sure it could be fixed if you have access to a welder.
Additionally, the wires they connected to the microswitches were soldered on, so there's some excess solder on the contacts.

I haven't tested the switches, but it's all there in terms of buttons and microswitches.  Albeit, some of them are mismatched and whatnot.
There's no memory card or headphone jacks, but the blockout place is in place.
3 of the 4 corners of the control panel overlay are broken off, and of course there are those 4 holes drilled in it where the buttons were installed.

Posting it here before trying to give it away on craigslist.

Hello --

I'm not sure if you are the admin (there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to message the admin) but I'm hoping you are...

I'm trying to upload a picture of the part I'm selling, installed in the game.  I keep getting a "failed security checks" message.  What is causing that?  It's just a simple photo.

LMK, please.

Unfortunately, the forum software sometimes throws false positives during the security checks.   :banghead:

The two workarounds that people have used to change the hash value are:
  1. Crop or resize the image by about 3-5%.
  2. Draw a dot in a similar-colored section of the picture.

After making one of these changes try uploading it again.

I have an old Ultimarc ArcadeVGA R9200 AGP video card to give away if anyone wants it.  I assume shipping to the US will be $10, in which case I can cover the shipping.  If shipping is more than that and you love AGP video cards I'll let you pay shipping.  :)

TWO WELLS GARDNER D9800 MONITORS. I used one on my Aliens build the other was a spare never used. They have sat unused and travelled the country with me. I would like them to go free to someone in the Vancouver area but have some requirements:

- They go to someone passionate about building Arcade cabinets and not a reseller
- The person in question come and collect them. I cannot help haul them but can provide easy access

Monitors were purchased in 2009. THe one used for about 8 years and then stored. The other never used.
