Hey guys
is anyone running the GroovyArcade release and managed to get wireless lan working?
Ive tried the 2016, 2017 and 2018 releases and none of them connect to my 2.4ghz WPA2 network.
I have managed to get the 2017 release to connect via ethernet and get a DHCP address so that might work, just wondering if you guys had similar issues?
Tried 4 different wireless cards (all work and can see my networks)
Cheers
Jim

Wifi on Linux depends on how lucky you are about the kernel having proper support for your particular hardware. It's either it works out of the box, or you're absolutely on your own, having to research on forums for your particular chipset, downloading drivers, compiling them, and managing to get them running. I remind my Acer laptop was on the unlucky side and getting wifi working was a real challenge.

Thank you :) I will keep on truckin'

It did not work for me when I tried two years ago. It’s what made me scrap the project and go with windows. I wish to revisit groovy arcade. Here’s an interesting read: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wireless_network_configuration

Would it be feasible to post your dmesg output after plugging the wireless controller?
