Title: Mala - Error reading game list file

I just started randomly getting the "error reading game list file" in Mala & it will not start. I have to control+alt+delete to shut Mala down.

I read someone deleted all the game list files in the Mala directory & that fixed it. It did not fix it for me.

Can you open the malagamelisteditor and maybe put a random game in or delete one and resave the list?  Maybe that will rewrite the file.   I dunno, I haven't seen that message personally.  What version of MAME are you using?  I assume your on mala 1.82.

It won't let me open Mala at all

Have you tried simply setting up a parallel install of Mala? Two can coexist on the same machine. If that one works, you know something is corrupt in the older one. Then you can move files over one at a time to track it down.
