Hey all - recently got setup I've been working with. running a linux install - actually it's one of those MiniKab solutions if anyone may be familiar with - works really great now that I've gotten it mostly dialed in. I mean it's quite quite cool, I'm really impressed by GroovyMame.
One thing I'm running into is the app crashing after a few seconds of running vector games - (asteroids, Star Wars, Tempest).
At first I thought had I a display issue and I was seeing about updating the CRT_Range, but I just realized I just needed to adjust my vhold and pic is fine...but now the actual problem is program crashing / freezing, like 5-10 seconds after a vector game starts.
Any reason why this may be happening? I think it's all config'd properly. running a generic 15khz setup / U2000 WG.
Any info appreciated

Hey - just thought I'd bump to see if anyone may have missed this or had any potential thoughts on the issue. Thanks :afro:

What version of the kernel are you running? I found the 2.14 kernel that's supplied with GroovyArcade 2018 to be unstable.
uname -a from the command line prints the kernel version.

Thanks for info - maybe it is a stability issue with the Mame version
so, I ran the uname -a from the command prompt, but I'm not sure this is advising of Mame version, just the front end version (image attached)- any additional suggestions appreciated!
