Nice looking MK cabinet.  I like the use of original Xbox in a cabinet and have used it for a couple of builds myself.

One suggestion: I recommend using Coinops or Hypervision as your interface instead of xbmc.  They have much more of an arcade feel and you can make them MK themed if you want.

I've got a BIOS that hides the Xbox boot logo.  You get about 10 seconds of black screen and then it does the biohazard symbol for a couple of seconds.

I've got to admit that I'm personally getting to the point where I'm about to pull my Xbox out of my pedestal cabinet.  There's getting to be too many homebrew/newer PC games I'd like to play on my cabinet and the Xbox is getting unreliable.  Seems like I'm reseating the hard drive and power connectors fairly often now.

you can fix the problem by replace a hdd for you XBOX. but you right about that the xbox is can't play all your favorite pc game.
so you can add a P.C like i did.  ;)
