I'm not sure if this is the right spot to ask, If not can someone point me in the right direction.
anyway Ive got a Lightning Fighters Jamma board that may have static damage, when its turned on it resets over and over, so it does the grid thing then ram test comes up then restarts again!? any Ideas??
I just checked it and Its says D8 is bad and all the rest are ok. what is D8? and is it repairable? thanks

Sounds like a RAM chip.

I'd check the voltages first. I've seen boards report bad RAM when all it was was not enough juice.

D8 refers to the integrated circuit chip located at position "D8" on the gameboard.

Yep D8 is an IC ill see if i can get a new one, but ill check the voltages too.
