Title: GroovyArcade Linux arch ALSAconfig problem
Post by: Renier on July 03, 2012, 04:55:09 pm
Guys, hi

I honostly hope I'm not a fool here, as I cant's find any related posts on the topic. In fact I've tried various combinations of supposed solutions from all over the internet. I'm not sure weather this is a linux or GroovyArcade problem though.... Doing a hard drive installation.

Alsaconfig does not exist!, simple. I can pick up my sound card, create a asound config, run Alsamixer, but the details doesn't get saved anywhere. The arch kernel does have alsa support and the newest drivers and utils ARE on there.

As Ive worked with GroovyArcade (thanks guys!) like everything else, I expect a simple solution from the menu options, but maybe I'm looking too deep? Any solutions/help/advice?

To save mixer configuration, just do "alsactl store" as root.
