i'm trying to put together a control panel overlay for my 4 player pedestal cabinet, and i'd like to use a TMNT theme. I seem to be unable to locate a vector version of all 4 turtles. i found leonardo, donatello and raphael, but cannot find a vector of michelangelo. does anyone have this?
here is the pic in question that i'd love to find..since it seems to fit in with the other 3 turtles i found. but if you guys have other tmnt vector graphics, i'd love to get access to them. please help.
image is attached...not sure what happened the first time.

Sever could you reload the pic? Found these too. Not vectorized but inkscape, Illustrator... :blah:

The following search was done in google images (teenage mutant ninja turtles hd wallpapers)
Leo isn't loading. Here (http://hdwpapers.com/tmnt_leonardo_wallpaper_2-wallpapers.html) is the hyperlink.

those are awesome, but they become blurry when scaled up to the proper size. my panel is pretty large, 18" x 48" at 300dpi, the resolution of that image is: 14400 x 5400 so inserting a 1080p wallpaper, it ends up being just a tiny little portion of the graphic.
i know you can manually convert an image to a scalable format using illustrator or inkscape or something similar, but i haven't the slightest idea on how to do it. i figured if someone already did this for the other 3 turtles of this style, the chances that they did michelango as well are pretty good....i just can't seem to find it. I installed inkscape the other night, but i guess i need to find a few tutorials becuase i don't even know where to start.

man! those images are sweet!
I hope you can find them in HD so you can use them, WOW~!

I'm trying to vectorize the Michelangelo image myself using Adobe Illustrator and just trace it out. So far its coming along pretty good, but it is my first time using illustrator, so I'm not great at it. When I have it worth using I'll post it and you can take it from there... but no promises on when it will be done.

Here's a few 4096x4096 images of each -- If you use Google search and go to advanced search and set the size to >4MP it will only show images that are larger than 4Megapixels which helps in finding higher res images.

So it took me a while, but I finally finished. I didn't match the color exactly, as I used the color off a Leonardo image http://vectorlib.free.fr/TMNT/vect/leo_06.ai (http://vectorlib.free.fr/TMNT/vect/leo_06.ai)(then realized that all the turtles aren't always the same color). Mind you I don't think most people notice, and I've seen a bunch of artwork where they are the same color. It was my first time converting an image, and I did it all manually so I probably spent 15+ hours doing this. Hopefully it will look right printed large.
Hope it helps. Let me know if you end up using it (or if you find any issues with the image).

Oh also, any chance you can send me the raph image you have already? (Or point me to it).
Thanks!

thanks, that is awesome. i feel bad though because i gave up on this and ended up going with different turtles for my panel. That is amazing though, thank you. I will hang on to it, because i have another cabinet i'm building for a friend that we will probably use these for.
attached is the raph vector i found, it is in a pdf format.
thanks again

here are the vectors i made for my panel, they are in .eps format. the feet may need cleaned up a little, i didn't bother with them because they were outside the printable area on my panel. maybe someone else can benefit from them...see attachments for vector format, i couldn't attach the .eps files, so they are all in the zip file

Just use Vector Magic to vectorize the original image. Takes about 30 seconds...
-
Vector Magic is nice but requires A LOT of clean up.
-
Had to rub that in! Damn, note to self... vector magic. heh. I like the images you used severdhed, if you have any build pics of your cabinet (or thread) lemme know.

Sgt, Take your vectorized picture and place it next to an image done by vector magic. Or go online and do a quick upload and you'll see that doing it your way, though more time consuming, yields a better product.
Severhed, Nice job on the control panel. Very clean and The Turtles pop and it doesn't look thrown together.

Thanks

Sorry to bump a really old thread, but I'm looking for the same thing. OP, do you still have that TMNT vector art?
-
I was looking through some old threads that I was involved with and just saw your message. Here are some vector artwork I found (none of this is mine though and I don't have source to give credit unfortunately). Hope it helps.
