Title: UK Peeps - where to find wood piece
Post by: darthbane2k on September 13, 2005, 08:51:13 am
UK peeps:

Im looking to decorate the side of my cab and I need a fairly thin circular piece of wood, about 1.5x the size of a CD to cut into the shape of Pacman.
Does anyone know of any DIY stores that sell flat wood shapes?

I think *some* do.  I'm sure I have seen circular pieces somewhere before (maybe Focus?).  That said, I think it was plywood, which might be too thick for what you want.

Hmm I know some of the bigger stores/trade merchants (jewson/big b+q?) have a timber cutting service when you buy wood off them, although that is more likely to be chopping up into lengths... you would probably have to pay more for curved/circular.

For just 2 you are more likely to get lucky finding something similar you can use.

post your findings though.
