Title: Pinball Machine on Ebay
Post by: Pungo76 on September 27, 2004, 11:34:14 am
Anybody here know much about pinball machines, I don't, but I'm trying to find a descent one for a good deal (under $500), to add to my Mame Cabinet.  Found this one on Ebay, and was curious if anybody knew if it sounded like something easy to fix, also I would have to pay for a shipping company to go over and crate it up and ship it too me, any idea what that would cost or how to arrange.  Thanks for any help.

The flipper is suppose to be an easy fix.. but I have never done one before.

Flipper should be an easy fix. Could be a broken plunger plastic link, wire broken from one of the coil's terminals, a bad coil itself, burnt switch contacts on either the flipper's "end-of-stroke (EOS) switch" or the flipper button cabinet switch. Craters and Freighters (google for them) can pack and ship the machine just about anywhere in the USA. Check the pinball newsgroup "rec.games.pinball" for any ebay pinball scams (yes there are crooks selling pinballs on ebay).
