Looking for advice on using the M2N68-AM+ as a replacement board. I have a few of these but all of them have the same issue. They fail to detect the serial I/O. I know the serial I/O is fine as it's working on Dell 740's but not luck with the M2N68-AM+.
I've double checked the serial in the BIOS and it's all set correctly is anyone aware of any gotcha's?

Sounds like an interesting project.

Someday I'd love to put a vector monitor in TV cab and make all the different control panels you would need to play every old vector game.

This scene came up for me on youtube and I was like wow… I can't believe this movie was made… What were they even thinking?

Im not a sports fanatic.. but I eventually saw this movie, within the last few years.   Its much better than I expected.  Very moving.

Have you even seen the full movie?  Or just this clip?   I think you have very little film experience, to call this movie... of all movies..
the "Dumbest" film.

I could rattle off hundreds of films that are FAR inferior to it  (almost everything made in the last 15 yrs, for example).

Awesome project! Are there lots of games that this can be used with?

Thank you!  Any 4Key or less rhythm game would work perfectly fine!

Thanks so much for the fix, Calamity!  The GroovyMAME user base really appreciates your hard work on GroovyMAME, Switchres, and CRT Emudriver!

Groovymame 0.289 is out (we had 2 releases this month, use the latest one):

What's new in Switchres 2.22f (August 2026)

- [intealls] Audio latency reduction and code fixes/simplifications:

    * For games not using VIDEO_UPDATE_AFTER_VBLANK, shave off vblank time for audio latency
    * Register minimum count buffer count across both audio updates for emusynclog
    * Update audio at m_vactive_ratio instead of 1.0, pushes audio earlier and reduces end-to-end latency, but maintains non-negative latency without -afd
    * Reduce minimum buffering latency to 0.1 ms, increase skip duration to 1 second, decrease minimum adjustment to 0.25 ms, only really matters for PipeWire
    * Fix XAudio2/WASAPI available() calculation
    * Add mutex for sink registration
    * Fix out-of-bound read resulting from fractional audio updates, fixes gyruss (and maybe others)

What's new in Switchres 2.22e (August 2026)

 - Properly store the current mode in the -nomodesetting case. Fixes redundant mode changes happening when the new mode is equal to the previous one (like with super-resolutions) and the mode change is delagated to the renderer (like with Windows d3d).
