Title: Shrinking size of screen with GM
Post by: processedmeat on December 11, 2018, 09:10:46 pm
Hi, I have a 27" D9200 that is little too big of a screen in my upright cabinet.  Is there a way to shrink the screen a few inches on each side so that its easier to focus on?  Front and back porch adjustments? I'm using Groovymame .204 and super resolutions.  Thanks!

There was an old post using an artwork lay file but I think the super resolution is causing problems using that method to shrink the screen size.

You could just change MAME's horizontal stretch. Super resolutions give you loads of horizontal resolution to play with.

Any reason you can't just adjust the hori/vert picture size on the monitor?

I got it adjusted all the way already and its less than 1/2" on each side.  Was looking to shrink it by another inch or so.  Thanks for the reply though.
