Hello so I made this simple bar control panel and I need some help when control panel is out it keeps sliding in
So I need ideas in how to lock in place while playing TIA.

Add two of these drawer latches on the inside of the drawer.

When you pull the drawer open, the latch drops in front of the lower lip of the drawer frame. face and edge below the drawer. (blue)

The pivot point (yellow) is toward the front.

Put a fender washer on the guide screw (red) so it doesn't fall out of the slot. (black)

The home-made kind.   ::)

Cut the gray part in the diagram from a 1"x4" or 1"x6" board.

If you use MDF, you might want to use some t-molding to protect the edges and corner of the "shark fin" that will rub on the face and edge below the drawer.

If the drawers have a bottom, cut a slot in the bottom for the "shark-fin".

View is looking up at the bottom of the drawer with the latch in the down position.
