Title: Ultimarc Ultimate io
Post by: councilface on October 21, 2018, 05:37:38 am
Hi apologies for the n00b question but I've been out of the scene for several years and want to make sure that I don't buy the wrong things.
I'm planning on building a pi powered conventional two player bartop using two Ultrastik 360s and have all 19 buttons lit using rgb LEDs (I may add a spinner too).
I see no reason why the ultimate io won't be up to the task, I just thought I'd check in case somebody knows something that I don't before I make the purchase.

Cheers,

CF

I don't see any problem.

Do you need to play modern windows games? In this case you may want an encoder with xinput compatibility and this Ipac is not.

Excellent, I think I'll be sticking to emulators unless there's some killer app that I'm unaware of. Maybe SFIV but that's probably in mame now, lol.

If you are using retropie or other linux based OS, you will need LEDSpicer to control the LEDs part of the ultimate IO
