Thanks for the heads up, Ken...

Your guru-ness, what are your opinions of Betson/Kortek vs. BilLabs/Wei-Ya monitor quality?

Thanks,
Rock

If I had to take my choice, I like the Wei-ya as a better built monitor.

Well the Kortek 19" monitor I ordered for my buddy Steve Mildenberger came in on Tuesday. Great packing, wrapped well, and included a normal video game power connector (2 pin) on the monitor and an extra video input cable.

I popped this baby into a Pole Position and it was plug 'n play. I used this to replace an Electrohome G07 that had a bum tube and I only had to swap the two sync wires from the 3 pin connector to the 6 pin on the Kortek. Turned it on and it has a great picture. Only had to tweak the vertical size pot on the remote adjustment board. Took all of ten minutes to install this puppy.

It's the Kortek model KTN-2001 still on sale at Penn-Ray for $155 until the end of February. BTW, it only cost $37 to ship it from Penn-Ray's office to here in Olympia, Washington.

For those of you who missed the Happ Controls monitor sale, this is still a decent monitor and at a decent price. Thumbs up!
