Title: Vigolix Yellow Fever Hybrid
Post by: Locke141 on July 27, 2014, 10:19:59 am
I'm back in the U.S.A. for two weeks with my wife and new baby boy. My parents are having a party so every one can meet the first grand baby. I decided to build a simple mini cab for all the kids to play. Been wanting to build a Vigolix clone for a while and when I saw yellow fever I decided they would make for a good mix.

I only had two mornings to do all the work so there is a lot that needs improving. That said I think it came out well. I can fix the little paint and other odds and ends after the party this after noon. I also need to print a marquee and add a L.E.D. light strip as a back light.

I'll add pics of the kids playing after the party.

Thanks to Vigo & ChanceKJ for the inspiration and plans.

Nice -- I'm sure the kids will have a good time with this and for a 2 day build it came out very polished looking.  :applaud:

Thanks Vigo. I have wanted to make a Vigolex clone from the moment I first lade eyes on your build.  :notworthy:

Yep, one day cutting/priming, one day painting/assembly.

There's just something awesome seeing a kid playing Pac-Man in 2014 ;D

One kid thought it was broking because the game did not start when she touched the screen. Another little one said "Mom it's Pac man and its free."

Amazing! All that in two days?  :notworthy:

Great job!

Vegos plan's and ChanceKJs idea to use a plug and play made it possible. I just hot glued some good ideas together.

Will this summer. It's in New York and I'm in Tanzania. I only had two days to get it done before the party.
