Title: Anyone know why this adapter in on the Kung Fu Master harness?
Post by: Hutt on February 23, 2016, 07:30:04 pm
Going to convert an old cab to a Kung Fu Master.
I just bought a boardset on ebay with a harness.
Seller said it works fine. I have not had a chance to test it yes as I will have to rewire the cab to do so.

What has me wondering is the adapter between the board and the wire harness... with a capacitor on every connection (half of which look blown)
I used to own an original KFM and have no recollection of anything like this.

What purpose would this serve?
Why wouldn't I just put the harness directly on the board set?

Could be a filter board. Try it without it.

Just in case anyone was curious. I wired this up Saturday and it worked fine without that extra board... didn't even try it. So no idea what it was for.
