Title: ArcadeFixit.com
Post by: lamprey on June 12, 2014, 11:56:06 am
I just wanted to give some props to ArcadeFixit.com.

I ordered an item off ebay (not from AFI) and it didn't have a couple little parts. I could have fabricated them myself, but I'd probably spend 5$ in martials and an hour of life messing with re-creating the parts. So, I emailed ArcadeFixit on a Friday evening to see if they might have those parts floating around as they were not on the web site. I got a quick response and had an email exchange over the weekend to make sure they knew the right parts I was looking for. They even emailed me pics of the parts so I could verify.

Long story short, they responded quickly to my email, even on the weekend, and made sure I got the right parts.

Very impressed and happy with them.  :applaud:

They shorted you parts and they're a good seller?

No, I think the item we won was shorted parts and he got what he neededfrom ArcadeFixIt.com. AFI wasn't the original seller.

+1 on ArcadeFixIt. I've used them many times.

I updated my post to help make it more clear that I did not make my original ebay purchase from ArcadeFixit.

Cool, thanks for the clarification and review.  I've been wondering how these guys were.

Unfortunately, short changing and substitution of cheaper parts is a rampant 'mistake' made by many vendors in this hobby.
