I recreated Ice Cold Beer for fun. I made it available for free on itch.io (https://felsir.itch.io/sodapop).
The game is made to run on a cabinet (esc to exit, tab to set the ingame functions)- more info on the itch.io page. I have it configured so the P1 and P2 joysticks move the left and right side of the bar.
Here is a gameplay video using the ICB skin in the game.
on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZTRlHze_ik)
- Two themes to choose from (SodaPop and ICB).
- Cabinet friendly.
- Vertical screen mode.
- Freeplay / insert coin toggle available.
- Various gamplay settings (change gravity, size of the ball).
- Free ;D

Very cool, thank you

Very Nice. I like easy simple games (where is the Pure DOS Version . . Hint Hint I wanna add to my DOS CAB).
Thanks.

So, this is amazing. Quality work.
Question: Is the only way to get it to show the full board at once by setting it to vertical? If so, maybe consider allowing it other ways. Some people (myself for example) have their cabs running windows in Portrait mode. So, setting the game to Vertical rotates the game again.
Anyway, really far better than anything I've seen simulating this game before.

Thanks for the positive replies :-)
I am considering adding new features. One is the options for displays: I've built myself a virtual pinball cabinet, so I want to display the title screen on the backglass. I will consider adding a fullscreen-lin-andscape mode.
Another request I received was to have to position of the holes randomized. I'll have to think about that one, how to do it and still get challenging play.
I'll let you guys know if I get around adding features.

Thanks for this game! I really enjoyed the original and this replication is very very well made.
Any plans to port it to Linux?
