I have had this arcade now for a couple of months and absolutely love it. I ordered it from Ryan at www.GameRoomSolutions.com (http://www.GameRoomSolutions.com). One of my favorite aspects of it is how they let you design your own artwork to be put on and really make it your own. The quality of the wood that was used, as well as all of the other components is excellent! Ryan was extremely helpful in any questions I had before and after placing my order. I have included a couple of in progress shots as well as the completed arcade.

Glad you had a good experience. I’m ready to scream.
I just got my 32 inch cab....the artwork printed is much darker than my design....
The artwork protective film is so stuck to the artwork that even gently peeling it off is damaging the art....
Pieces are gouged/damaged, now gone knows how long I’m going to have to wait to even get this resolved
Because Ryan answers emails extremely slow.
About to have fedex pick this back up and return it. This is a slap in the face.

Send the crap back. I have warned people about that guy's work. He also uses the artwork you upload to his site without your permission. I had to try to cobble together a workable cab for a friend who bought one of those hunks of garbage.

I wish I knew this. I read nothing but great stuff on reddit/YouTube about GRS but my experience with them has been sub par and now this is the cherry topper.
They also sent the wrong T molding color, I haven’t even looked at the other box to see what nightmares await.
Now I emailed him last night about the problems with my cab and I guarantee like the rest of my emails through this whole transaction, I will have to wait 3 days to get a response or it’ll flat out be ignored like one of my emails I sent
Do business with him at your own discretion. Maybe I just had bad luck but when I saw how crappy the company communication was I should of went with another company. Waste of $1,000.00.

File a charge back.

The credit card company sides with the customer pretty much 100 percent of the time. One of my cards gives you 60 days to file a claim.

I just emailed him with all pictures of the damage, while repacking it up I happened to see my CP that was made, I pulled it out and it is completely wrong as well.. They were supposed to customize it with only 2 admin buttons for pause and exit and no coin buttons on the CP. There are 4 admin buttons drilled and 2 coin buttons...along with 2 spinner holes drilled???!!! The plexiglass was drilled wrong too :banghead:
I’m giving him until tomorrow to respond, if he doesn’t answer I’ll contact my cc company to dispute charge. I’m not paying a dime to ship this back either. I am livid right now.
-
Don't give him a day. Don't ship it back. Just file the charge back. Everything else is a waste of your time. That guy makes a habit out of shipping junk to people. Once you have your money he can pay to ship his junk back if he wants it.
-
Always start with the charge back. No threats or negotiations.

Am I the only person who can't handle control panels where bolts/screws are sticking out/aren't flush with the surface? It just seems so amateurish. Can't imagine paying for a product with such a sloppy design.

No, I prefer the carriage bolt look. It’s original and easier to maintain. I don’t think it looks amateurish at all.

Carriage bolts are the way it was done.

I bought a 32" cabinet from GRS for a very reasonable price and fast, free shipping. I wanted a Recroommasters Extension but it was literally $750 more expensive. So I rolled the dice. The control panel and art was correct/looked good, the wood was a very solid 3/4" melamine, no missing pieces, and only a few minor flaws which I expected having ordered from them before. Some of the melamine had small chips on the corners, the mending plate holes didn't line up because GRS supplier changes the plates slightly, and I had to dremel shave the monitor track so I could lower my monitor a bit more. Otherwise, there were only two things that needed modification; there is nothing on the bottom so I spent $5 on some magic sliders, and the speaker panel shows bare wood between the slots so I got some grill covers to cover them up. So basically, I had to sharpie a few nicks on back panel pieces and drill 4 pilot holes to save $750.
