I am working on some art, and wonder who you folks choose to give opinions on your art work when you have trouble picking something. A "this or that" scenario when making decisions that would normally be a coin toss... or do y'all just toss a coin? What methods do you have for choosing one over the other etc?
Having trouble getting opinions from my immediate family and friends as their level of care is quite low, and am not quite confident to post my art in the forums :lol

Yeah, I feel like in a forum, you gotta know who to listen to haha. I am just working in Inkscape now... kind of new to it. It's different for sure. I always have questions but never know when and where to ask... part of learning I suppose.

I feel like if I had a wife, I'd be more likely to hear what I wanna hear :lol
Once I get my art presentable, I will run it past some of ya's privately... still not that confident.

The issue with this forum is there are so many people with there own individual opinions. I agree with Yots on that there are a few core individuals that I would trust.
Just remember it comes down to what you like and want.

Look through other people's builds and pick people whose designs you like.
If you want to be challenged a little, look for people who did things you wouldn't have thought of, but did them well.

Well I am a few days (hopefully) away from having my first draft of my vectored artwork prepared. At least the main elements I wish to incorporate. I am pretty new so it's not gonna be anything too crazy, but feel it will work.
Would be interested in how you share files privately... is there a feature in PM? Any volunteers? :lol
