-
I was born at age zero. But there is a fundamental problem with how people count age.

I work off the premise that I was nine months old when I was born...
-
Sorry... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06X5HYynP5E#)
-
I dont see an option for 50's. Does this mean Im not born? That would explain a lot.
-
Is that 1850's?
-
I was 9 months when I popped out. If that helps.
I was born in the Space Age. A year earlier when Neil did his walkabout.

That was all faked. ;)

You already have more than that for 9/11 and your point is? One is fiction the other is fact. Both mind boggling in complexity.

Good to know I'm not the oldest around here.... I was about 14 when Space Invaders came out..
-
Right at the end of the disco era and the rise of Space Invaders.

I was born in 84 the first video game i ever played was with my father in the Arcades and that was the brand new Final Fight i kicked my dads ass mashing the buttons and i was sold, we had to go, and i said i want this, my dad told me he would buy one for me but never did. I got a NES with Kung FU instead. I was happy

Age of Aquarius baby :afro:
-
Hyborian age for me.

Didn't we already discuss this with Playboy magazines?
-
Born in 81. I was a latchkey kid growing up in a rough neighborhood so I was basically raised by John Matrix, John Rambo, and my Nintendo.
When I was 8 we moved across the street from my small towns mall. So I spent most of my free time hanging out at the arcade...when i didn't have money I would just watch other kids play and shoot the breeze. Man i miss those days!

That does not make me feel any better being a year older :) Although getting asked for ID when buying a beer in USA last september, Priceless

Born in 81.... Couldn't be happier. I got to experience the 80s in my own way, going to arcades and playing outside, and play pick up baseball, malls, Rotary dials... you know all that stuff that kids have no idea about today. All that pre-internet stuff.
I was fortunate to have a gamer for a dad. He introduced me to Atari 2600 and the Atari 400. I remember the arcades had a lot of different games, From Missile Command to the 4-player turtles. Not to mention the Hologram Time Traveler. I also was at a prime age to experience the Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat craze. So I can honestly say I have experienced in the wild most Arcade games from then till now.
What I missed completely is the 70s. And how Arcades were. I see clips from movies like the Original Dawn of the Dead and I go "What game is that?"

I was born in 73, but I’ve kind of learned the sweet spot would’ve been born in 69. That way, your teen years would have been the mid 80s and not the early 90s.

Millennial = 0. :lol
Yeah right. I'm sure there are Millennials here, but are too scared to mark themselves down for fear of ridicule. ;) Millennial is the new bad word now, replacing hipster, though they aren't exclusive to themselves.

Couldn't resist.

Born 1966. I remember a few of us riding bikes up to the 7-Eleven to play pinball and the excitement when Asteroids showed up. Then in high school they opened up an arcade called Fun Spot and my favorite eating place Zero's pizza had a Wizard of War video game. Several years ago I decided to buy the pinball machine that I remembered being my favorite in Fun Spot so I still own a fully functional Time Warp pin with banana flippers. I bought a MAME cabinet premade from Hanaho games around 1999 and kept it many years till I gave it away to a friend for his kids. I've got a full size virtual pinball machine but my build thread was on the HyperSpin website and got archived into non-existence. I'm back working on finishing my full size virtual arcade machine.

I loved the old vector games. Asteroids, Ripoff, Armor Attack. Then when this new whiz-bang game with all the buttons, called "Defender" came out, people seemed to gravitate to those. Maybe the vector monitors didn't hold up as well.
I grew up in the Golden Age of arcade games (pre video game crash).
I am older than Saint.
