Title: Attract Mode with multiple LEDWiz devices?
Post by: arzoo on June 24, 2006, 08:30:42 pm
I've been looking through the threads and docs which discuss how to configure the attract mode lighting sequences for PM and I have a question. If the GGG LEDWiz control panel is used to create the LWA files, how can you create a sequence which uses multiple LEDWiz devices when the GGG software does not recognize multiple devices. Is this possible?

I only have one ledwiz myself but I THINK the answer is you will have to manually edit the lwa files yourself. I've strung a few lwa files together and changed the odd value but I imagine a secondary ledwiz would involve a little more work.

Keep your eyes peeled on these forums though as its only a matter of time before someone comes up with a "killer app" for making led animations.

Hope this is of some help.

I don't think the LWA files support any syntax for specifying the device so manually editing would be of no use. The attract mode is not a show-stopper for me, but it would be nice if all my blinky buttons could dance together  ;D

yep  - you are right. I misread the text file that comes with ledwiz. There was talk of "banks" but they are just groups of 8 leds rather than each bank being a ledwiz.

sorry for the confusion.
