Title: Alternate NES hardware version?
Post by: ncflagg on May 26, 2017, 06:51:59 pm
I thought this would be a good group to ask..

There is a video game documentary which has a brief interview with a hardware designer pitching various ideas for how the U.S. version of the Famicom/NES would look like before they finally decided on the VCR style. There even showed a picture of the version he worked that he really liked which, from memory, looked a little like the AVS clone and was a top-loader.

Does anyone know which documentary I'm describing and when that interview appears? I can't seem to find it.

Still not sure which documentary but I'm 90% sure it was the AVS prototype.
