I have spent the last month streamlining the build process for these cabinets. The result is a quality product that I can offer at a low price. These are still being hand built; CNC cut cabinets would have driven the price beyond reason.

Features:

<> Custom and unique design, ready for your customization. Skip the difficult design and woodworking process and get one step closer to your dream arcade cabinet.

<> Cabinet comes ready to assemble. All that's needed is a common screwdriver. It can be disassembled just as easily for transportation, storage, etc. This is the same peg and lock hardware that comes in furniture from Ikea and other furniture stores and gives the cabinet a very nice, professional, appearance.

<> Monitor ready. Will fit most 15

Not only do I like the design and look of these bartops, but I think it's really smart to (a) have a 'monitor size guide' and (b) have a dedicated slot/shelf for the computer.  It makes buying one of these much less of a gamble for the home user who otherwise might find out their stuff doesn't even fit.

Looks cool, tahnok

I'm considering buying one just to put my computer in! :)  It looks like the keyboard/mouse would fit on the joystick stand!

Thanks for the compliments on the design.

Just sent you a PM back DM, then saw that you asked the same question here. Here are the measurements, if anyone else is wondering.

Edit: Added to first post, under 'Details'.

You should really post some pictures of a painted /finished cabinet rather than just a render.  Surely you have finished one of these???

I don't have one of these specifically. I have an earlier version that is slightly shorter (it doesn't have an area for a computer). Also, it has a metal CP (not offered on these kits). Click here to see pictures of early model. (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=35430.0)

Just one concern from me...is the monitor easy to see?  It looks like the vertical monitor area is very small, as if one would need to be perfectly level with the screen.

I really like the shape tho, nice work :)

I bought one from him from an ebay auction. Nice design but I have to say, he really should use MDF instead of the rough particle board it's made from.
I wanted to paint it but was unable to.
After sanding the hell out of it, I was not happy with the way it looked after painting it.
I had to use laminate instead, so I wasted a lot of time and money.
So if your wanting to paint it, buy something else.
