STICKS:
Hi guys. I have a couple of LS30 rotarys that I am going to make into sticks for mame.
I have already ordered the Happ Rotary Interface to connect the sticks via USB (mame recognizes the rotation as extra keyboard input):

The sticks I have a quite old and used, but I think they both work (will find out soon). Is there any kind of cleaning or lubrication I should look at doing to maintain them?

STICK TOOL:
For removing the the caps of the sticks, there was a special tool that goes underneath the cap and pops it open. You can apparently modify a paperclip to do the job, but I was wondering if there were actual replacement tools available, or if there is an off the shelf alternative?

BUTTONS:
So now I need buttons. There are these super cheap Sanwa kits on ebay that look to be just what I need, they also come with an interface board that outputs to usb. Would I be ok with this set? They seem very cheap for saying the joystick etc is included:

I really want to stick to simple usb interfaces, I dont want to do any kind of soldering / custom wiring myself*

CASE:
I am going to have to build a case to house each of the stick in. I was thinking of buying an old console arcade stick and taking out the insides, but the rotary sticks body is very deep, around 2" iirc, so I cant find a console stick deep enough. Does anyone know of the suitable prefab case I could get off the shelf?

ART:
To match the logo on top of the cap, for the case I would really like to do the oldschool SNK repeating logo, like the Touch Down Fever control panel.  I have some good copies of the stand alone logo, but I can't find a good scan of this repeating pattern, anyone know of one?
