Im sure this has been discussed before, but can we get a "like button" on each thread? Maybe just on the first post.
It might be a good way to track threads you are interested in, plus the number of likes could get a popular thread more notice.

I like the idea of being able to upvote/downvote each post. Helps weed out posts with no substance and be able to tell which posts are more helpful to others.

Speaking of buttons, when are we going to get wireless buttons to cut back on all that gruesome wiring up of the control panels?

Here is why I would like some form of a "like post" option--
1. I read one of Yot's posts where he recommends someone not install an espresso machine on their planned "Java-Cade."
2. I hit reply.
3. I type, "Good advice" or "+1" or "Agreed" or "He knows what he's talking about."
4. I realize this is just me latching on and not contributing anything. Shame overwhelms me.
5. I close the tab without replying.
6. Months later I wonder, "What ever happened to the Java-Cade build?" as I missed all the updates in the Java-Cade build thread because in my mind I had replied to it, and it should show up under "New Replies." But I didn't reply. I closed the tab in shame.
This happens more than I want to admit.

It didn't used to bother me but now literally every other forum I frequent, for every single hobby or interest has one. It's like a time portal back to 2004 here.

The whole forum needs an overhaul. With great functionality for mobile devices... ---fudgesicle--- tapatalk. But... For the old jammers, there should be a way to emulate the old forum, server issues and all.

While we're fixing the forum we should flip the switch on the old like button feature. Play a little game I like to call just the like button tip, just for a little while, just to see how it feels.
