That's pretty slick. But at the end of the day, it's just an on off switch too. Here's what mine looks like. easy, cheap, no soldering, works the same in effect. I wish there was an easy way to hook a real plunger up to a joystick or pot somehow to get a true "pull back distance" reading, as if you were moving a joystick up and down. Not sure how you might do that though without a completely custom plunger. |

Drventure, is that a leaf switch I see behind your plunger? Dazz, I've looked over that. I guess I was looking for a pre-built solution. While I have a lot of technical saavy, I haven't played with circuit boards and that type of electronics for a LONG time. But it looks like most of that stuff can be bought at Radio Shack, so maybe it wouldn't be as hard to go that route. I would ideally like a plunger control that senses the pull to determine the force of the ball launch. Dazz's solution seems to emulate that to a degree. |
