Mr.Ian:
Ok, so im in the middle of putting all my hardware together before i start my build,

I Have just received an XArcade Trackball, and now im just wondering if i have done the right thing, And have a few quick questions (That must have been answered a million times, but searching for answers is a nightmare)

1. What is the best way to make this sit flush with my pannel ??

2. How the hell do i hook this up ??

It has keyboard and USB connections, and a hell of a lot of other wires attached (including 2 buttons and 2 Microswitches)

Have i done the right thing ??? Im hoping so !!!

Any help would be fantastic, and i can only appoligise if this has been asked a million times before

Thanks

Mr.Ian

1. Unique design requires NO MOUNTING PLATE. Simply use a router to cut out 5-7/8” by 5-7/8” down to ¼”. Cut 2-7/8” hole for lip/ball. Smart design, easy to install!

Mr.Ian:
Thanks for the reply, but i will be using with mame, not a console
Vamp RN:
I don't think that it matters if you are using on arcade or with a console.  I think that the only difference is that if you are using with a console you have to have an adapter.  From what I understand it should be pretty much plug and play for MAME.  That said, I have never actually seen one in person before.

Just plug it in via USB and it will be recognised, it is just a mouse. You can use the additional wires to wire up left and right click and assign them to actual functions in Golden Tee etc.

As for mounting, either you need some awesome jigsaw skills, a massive drill bit or a router.

Cut out the hole and screw her in
