Jukebox w/ Camera!
deano7:
I am building a jukebox and I'd love to add a web cam to make it serve as a photobooth. I know macs come with a cool software package that takes 3 pictures within certain time increments and then you can add effects. Does anyone know of any PC software that would work with a touchscreen and serve as a photobooth? Thanks in advance...

I hadn't thought of something like that so I went looking and came across this -

Hadn't tried it yet for touchscreen compatibility, but will let ya know when I do.
(if you don't first)

It does say that they have touchscreen functionality. Cool.
Looks like what I am looking for, but the pricetag is ridiculous... $600? I don't see a non-commercial license either...
I wonder if they have a version that only saves the pictures to the harddrive, which obviously wouldn't be commercial use.
I think I had found this one in the past but didn't bother with it since it was so expensive.

Here's something open source for Linux

Another, under windows, but it looks pretty simple

Very nifty idea. Hadn't thought of anything like that but it'd be great for parties...

I am going to add this camera (black of course!) in order to allow for an easy way to extend out of the cab and fold it up when not in use. It looks pretty slick and perfect for this application.
