Anywhere I should visit in vegas?
ark_ader:
I lived in Vegas for several years, and I always advise those so inclined to see more of Vegas than the Strip.
There is Red Rock - Perfect for hiking or you can just drive through it. It is quite stunning.
There are some great shopping in Henderson.
Please visit Lake Mead and check out how low the lake has gotten from all the water usage over the past decade. With the lower levels comes the beautiful rock formations. I hear the lake has only 4 years of water left.
Hoover Dam - nice views and tour.
The Strip is great and yes the PBHOF is perfect for a bash of Funhouse, but also check out the arcade at New York New York too.
I would advise to stay away from Downtown, as it is not the safest part, especially during this downturn.

Holy thread resurrection!
So....did you go to the Pinball HoF? I'm going to be in Vegas this weekend with a couple of guys (no wives!) for the SuperBowl. I've never been to the PHoF and am wondering if its a 'must see' for a child of the 70s-80s ('72 Bday). I was never a HUGE pin fan, but I do have some good memories of plugging quarters into several pins at a 7-11 while my brother hogged Zaxxon.
There will be plenty of time for strip clubs, gambling, boozing, etc, so this isn't an either/or situation, more of a "is it worth the trip" kinda thing.....
