Monitor stopped working
« on: December 24, 2009, 01:51:16 am »
I have a table top pacman with a Samsung monitor. For some reason the monitor no longer turns anymore. I know the game is working because I can press start I can hear the game. But nothing on the monitor seems to be on. I checked all the fuses I could see on the cabinet and monitor and they look good.

Any suggestion on what I would need to do to get it working again?

Sorry I dont know much about monitors so detailed instructions would help.

Thanks.

start by unplugging game from AC outlet  ;)

then check monitor main line fuse , Vreg circuitry, H out xistor, secondary fuses.
inspect foil side of PCB for loose connections .

AND post the model number -so we might have a better idea of what you have to work with ... ;D
