Ulrastick 360 drifting in MAME menu. What could be the problem?
Bobulus:
I think the confusion here is that Ginsu is assuming you are wiring the joystick only to the ipac. From you picture, it looks like you've got it both wired to the ipac and connected directly to the computer via USB, right?
It has to be hooked to the computer via its USB cord to program it and such, you see.

Yeah that part I know about. You'll notice the dual usb cords in the pic. For some reason the joystick dosen't seem to function without being plugged up through the USB. I tried to power the Joystick off the Ipac but the ground dosen't seem to put out enough voltage to power the stick. The stick needs about 5V to work. So what I was told by Andy. The Ipac is used many because I wanted more pushbutton functions. I have two side buttons for triggers for Pinball games etc. SO I have a total of 12 pushbuttons and if just off the U360 I would only have 8. Could it be since I have the joystick wired up to the Ipac VE and through the USb be the reason for the conflict?

Ok I tried this. I unhooked the wiring harness of the U360 from the Ipac Ve. I stopped the drifting doing this. With the replies it helped me figure out what I could do to solve my problem. Thanks.
